Odysseus' ship is a Viking longship. Telemachus is wearing a shirt and pants. Agamemnon is beardless and has MF DOOM's helmet. The Trojans used brutalist architecture. There is no color to be found in any costume or on any set. Christopher Nolan deserves to be gored and trampled by a large mammal.

So in Nolans Odyssey the main lead costume designer is Ellen Mirojnick who worked with Nolan before for Oppenheimer, so why did she go from this

She's not a newcomer in the industry with being in popular films such as Basic Instinct, fatal attraction, Wall Street, the Knick etc. She has a belt of years in costumes

So again why the drastic changes? Sure Bridgerton is hailed as just a fairy tale show by some critics so historical inaccurate clothes are expected although I disagree because it takes you out of the immersion when it says the time period. Lord of the rings however, drew heavy inspiration from old medieval times that the costumes don't feel out of place for the story and still many are remembered to this day. But when it comes to Greek mythology where the myths are part of a religion therefore whatever happens is in actual ancient Greece suddenly historical accuracy is out of question??

The issue about inaccuracies in costume designs have existed for so long but at what point enough is enough?
