Bruce: DAMIAN AL GHUL WAYNE COME HERE RIGHT THIS INSTANT!
Damian: Yes Father?
Bruce: Why have there been charges to your card for chlamydia treatment for the last 3 months?! You are SIXTEEN!
Damian: It's for the koalas!
Bruce:...What?
Damian: It's for the koalas father! It's a terrible epidemic for the wild population! Over 90% infection rates! $50 a month to contribute to helping keep the species alive is the least I can do!
Bruce: *deep breath* Next time, PLEASE, just ask me to set up a charity for whichever cause you're looking to sponsor. It'd give me less heart attacks.
I have poor spice tolerance and thus im projecting that onto Eoi
Spice tolerance of a small victorian child
(This has happened on mutilple occasions on complete accident bc BM trusts shedletsky too much and shedletsky keeps forgetting his little buddy disintegrates at a hint of spice)
okay, i have more thoughts about the brat!reader and cultleader!price
this is for sure happening in the US because lets be real, americans are suckers for a man with a british accent. price and the lads are walking up to men and women on the streets of some rural town somewhere in the middle of nowhere and after a few kind words, a couple smiles and the promise of salvation they have these folks signing away their life savings.
price thinks he sees you first, but you spotted the weird cult guys from a mile away. you aren't from around these parts. you like to think of yourself as city mouse visiting, just passing through to see how the other side lives but instead you've stumbled upon something from out of a crime documentary. only, they haven't quite gotten to the bad part yet.
when price does see you for the first time, it goes according to plan. you have an honest to god paper map out on the hood of your rental car and you're staring at trying to find your way to some local point of intrigue.
to price you are an easy target, traveling alone, no family around to notice when you go missing, no sense of self preservation as you stutter through telling him about the roadtrip you are on, lamenting how work has been draining you, talking about how you want to get in touch with something more (and you do actually want to visiting the hot springs you saw on the map, but you're not the type to believe that the waters have transformative properties).
it only a few bashful words before he is inviting you to the farm. telling you about a simpler way of living, about a place where you don't have to be so bothered by worldy toils.
you can see why people fall for it, the promise of something better is so much sweeter when you were already thinking about quitting your job, anyway.
and maybe your ego is as big as price's if you think you can out manipulate a cult leader.
my head canons for how the reader looks luring in price below
if more feminine presenting the reader is for sure putting on something like a white, flowy sundress with tiny little flowers on it.
if more masculine presenting the reader is going for the all grown up boy scout look. Hiking shoes with crew socks, khaki short and one of those slutty open knit polo shirts tucked in.
imagine if Farleigh had told Felix about him and Oliver.
“Are you going to behave now, Farleigh?”
“Nooo”
….
“Say it.”
“I’m going to behave”
At first, Felix doesn’t believe that Ollie could ever be like that. Like c’mon it’s Ollie.
He just can’t fathom that the same Oliver he knows would be such a dom in the bedroom. So he starts to test it.
At first he starts slowly, whining a little more, throwing a fake tantrum here and there but Oliver just calls him spoiled.
Next he starts to hide Oliver’s belongings. Nothing major, just a textbook here and there to mildly inconvenience him. Still nothing. But he catches glimpses of it. When he has truly annoyed Oliver he can see the change in his eyes. They get darker, steelier. He’ll tilt his head to the side and give Felix a hard look but never does anything about it.
Felix finally pushes his luck during finals week. Oliver is driving himself crazy trying to revise, he practically lives in the library and Felix bored. He’s bored out of his mind. So he starts taking Oliver’s pens refusing to give them back, shuts Oliver’s books, tapping his fingers on the table, saying OllieOllieOllie.
Oliver snaps.
He grabs Felix’s jaw hard and firm between his fingers.
“Look at me.” he says harshly.
Of course Felix refuses. Oliver grips his chin harder. Felix can feel the sides of his cheeks pressing up against his teeth and it kind of hurts.
When he finally makes eye contact with Oliver all he says is, “You are going to sit and behave. You will not interrupt my studies, Felix.”
Before opening up his textbook and completely ignoring Felix.
Felix sits in the uncomfortable library chair, stunned.
He spends the rest of Oliver’s revision time with his legs crossed and a random book on his lap trying to hide his erection.
thinking very hard about revenant john kidnapping taka and keeping him, showering him in gifts and praise, not knowing how to show his twisted love otherwise... rev!john eventually coaxing taka into bed, and taka resistant at first only to fold when he realizes that he did miss having john in bed, really he misses john, but the revenant is a damn good imitation and taka doesnt think it would hurt him all that bad...
Oooh you've got a fae au for Sage? I'm surprised he's easy to manipulate when he deals in truth! After all, the truth is quite the varied thing, don't you think?
It is! But he lives in truth and trusts others - that’s one of OG Sage’s character flaws too - if he can’t see why someone might lie about something he will assume that they aren’t lying.
He is very powerful magically - his light is… very effective against most things. It grants him the overconfidence that also blinds him to deceit - for who could hide in the shadows with his brilliance around?
