"I can't help but think," Ingrid brought up one day, "that you've been spending an excessive amount of time with Felix lately."

Sylvain jolted, as if caught red handed. "I-I suppose so. He just recovered from a fever, you never know when it might come back haha."

"It's a side effect of the potion, so I don't think think it will. But...be careful." Ingrid's eyebrows furrowed as she turned to Sylvain, "You need to remember how he feels about you right now. If you...intervene too much...someone will get hurt."

"I know." Sylvain said. "But...when the week is over...will the effects of the potion really be gone? Just like that? One day he'll wake up and...."

"...And simply forget having ever loved you that way." Ingrid finished. "But....hm...Mercedes said there Felix was a special case--"

Her sentence was cut short with Ashe's arrival.

"--Ingrid! Ah, did I come at a bad time?" Ashe smiled apologetically, "I don't mean to cut you off, but this is...um, important. Mercedes is calling all of us to meet up."

"Oh? For what?" Sylvain blinked. What would require everyone to show up? Was it about the potion? It couldn't be, Sylvain thought, that issue was already concluded.

Ashe's eyes landed on his own fingers, which suddenly seemed to be the most interesting thing he has ever laid his eyes upon. "Aha...hmm...sorry Sylvain. You're, uhm, you can't come."

Something was up, and no one was telling Sylvain. Well, that's fine--he'd find out himself in due time anyways. As much as it bothered him, he found he didn't care quite as much--especially with his new relationship with Felix and all.

Sylvain supposed that it was something best kept under wraps. If they made their relationship public, people would question the validity of their feelings, as Felix was still currently under the influence of the potion.

A pause.

"Felix is...still..." If Felix was under the love serum's influence, could their relationship really be considered genuine? Did Felix really have feelings for him, or was it just the potion speaking?

No, it sure surely Felix himself, without a doubt. But if by any chance Sylvain was wrong...what if Felix really did one day wake up, with all of his feelings for Sylvain gone? What then?

"Don't space out in the middle of the corridor, idiot."

Felix's voice brought Sylvain back into reality, forcing the redhead to jolt up in surprise. "Oh, sorry."

It really was somewhat awkward to meet Felix face to face, after that type of internal dialogue, Sylvain mused. But matters be damned, Sylvain really did love Felix, and if Felix forgot him, then so be it. He'd woo the man as many times as it took, because there was no way Sylvain would let go of him now.

"Mhm." Felix walked briskly away, yet there was something about him that practically yelled 'follow me'. "So Mercedes called me out last night."

Ok, Sylvain definitely had to follow him now.

"She asked about our relationship." Felix stated, "I gave her the truth."

"What...what exactly is the...the truth...?" Sylvain couldn't help but ask.

"Dumbass. I said," Felix stopped abruptly, turning back so that he'd meet Sylvain eye to eye. "I love you."

If a heart could flip in a beat, Sylvain's just did ten.

"Actually, I didn't say it right off the bat." Felix added, "But you know I can't keep anything from her, none of us can. So I told her. And then today she told everyone else. Then...they told me about something."

"Dear goddess."

Sylvain gasped, his eyes wide with...a feeling. Terror? Horror? Shock? He wasn't sure, but it was not a pleasant feeling.

"And I guess you can figure it out on your own now, but...I know." Felix said, his expression as serene as ever.

It was almost as if he wasn't about to drop a bomb on Sylvain.

"I know that I drank the love potion."
