BUT HOW
I finished a Junji Ito book today and some of the lore at the end reminded me greatly of the lore that's in my Spooky Lesbian Horror Novel™ and THAT made me want to write it tomorrow at work (when work is inevitably slow.)
ALL OF THIS TO SAY if anyone wanted to drop some horror-specific, couple-specific or even WLW-specific OC asks into my inbox that I can answer about my darlings Perrie and Violetta (and/or their darling son Cody) I would be greatly appreciative and also I'll spam some OC prompts myself as a massive thank-you!
I feel a need to get back to this gif. King Viggo getting his beautiful, beautiful crown and looking rather uncomfortable (that slightly exasperated look into the camera is quite telling) with the attention on him, humble, lovely man that he is.
What I like best about this is Orlando's intense, almost aggressive, possessiveness. It feels like he's holding Viggo in a way that screams, "this is my man, I'm so damn proud, just look, isn't he amazing?" And "nobody else can touch him". Orlando is already standing very close, yet he hops a little nearer still right there. Can't come close enough, it seems.
The only other bit I've seen from this moment is this intriguing (but blurry as f-k) handholding moment. No idea where this clip was taken from.
So, maybe it wasn't just Orlando feeling possessive, eh? I wonder what prompted this (literally) touching moment. But they certainly didn't seem to be hiding the affection they felt for each other (at the very least).
