I got to thinking about the whole idea of Irkens' blushing and how it doesn't make sense. Humans blush due to blood rising to their cheeks from stress. Humans blush when scared, angry, vulnerable, etc.

The only thing I've seen Irkens do is sweat in this state. So therefore Zim does not blush, he oozes sweat profusely.
