Beneath the blistering speed, however, lies a haunting story drawn from Scandinavian folklore. The Mylingar were believed to be the restless spirits of unbaptized children, doomed to roam the earth until someone laid them to rest properly. That sorrow bleeds through the music, especially during the chilling line: “I will find solace in my demise, my body remains unbaptized.”
