Hook up after games. Eventually talk and get to know each other. Someone accidentally makes a comment about the post-game hookup, causing lily to think that James isn't into her seriously. Meanwhile James is falling in love with her. The skate around their feelings, acting like friends with benefits for a while. Both falling in love with each other. Boning on every surface. They bone on the ice once when James prepares a centre ice picnic. Things are nice but neither of them are really happy because of all the pining that's going on. A dirty check and an injury that results in James being carried off the ice forces Lily to confront her feelings for him.
