This is Knott's Berry Farm's Whirlpool. It was later renamed "Headance". Yes, like "head" and "dance" all ran together. Awful name, isn't it? It gets worse. The ride shut down and the building was torn down, but the ride has since resurfaced outdoors with the name Pacific Scrambler. I think that's also a Denny's special. I assume it has avocado and bacon.
Why did it disappear to begin with? Why was each name worse than the last? The world may never know, but if you can watch without getting seasick, or just fast forward, I remember really loving the music. As a kid, I'd ride it several times in a day just to hear it. Enjoy!
