i know that people always say that headcanons are harmless and you can think of a character however you like.. but its sooo scary actually trying to do it😭😭

you love the character that you DONT want to portray them in the "wrong" way AND THEN I FEEL DUMB

Fandom Problem #4206:

Shout out to the “Gwen is trans” (headcanon which would be fine being stated as an aggressive fact which is not ok) people and several of the “Gwen isn’t trans” (fact based but several people are doing it an obnoxious equally stupid way.)

If Gwen is made trans it isn’t out of genuine interest but because your reminding the creators that you are a vehicle for money true representation doesn’t matter when they can just disrespect the character and viewers with lack of creativity to make an actual trans character.

The multiverse has made a sloppy excuse for people to claim a headcanon as fact and act superior when proven incorrect. Good for Gwen having a “Protect trans kids” flag but people really forgot that you can support that without being trans or did you make a new rule. Those colors have been with her sense her initial inception, please sound twist color palettes to fit your own agenda and I mean that for anyone. Her dad does not have a trans pin that’s his police accommodations Gwen’s world just has a unique color set up, this is proven when you see his badge at different angles, you are just so drowned in ACAB rhetoric that the thought of good police is one you shun and intentionally ignore.

How about you design a trans Gwen for yourself without claiming the original one given.The fact that you read Gwen’s story is such is important it’s great. That’s how a character can be relatable without being a 100% you. That’s so good for literacy and your well-being to relate without being exact to another. By trying to solely claim it as a fact for trans and trans only you’re taking it away from others with similar situations but for different reasons.

Please and understand and read this clearly as someone is is tired of headcanons in any fandom being pressed as fact and attacked when the “evidence” is proven incorrect, as someone whose tried amid both sides of the arguing polluting the fandom and inviting several unnecessary fights, as someone whose pro media literacy and pro original created characters.

As someone who is autistic, autism headcanons drive me nuts, because they're 80% of the time purely based on extreme stereotypes of people with autism, rather than actual autism symptoms.

Seeing cutesy fanart and headcanons cross your dash for a thing you haven't watched yet and making it out like the characters are such great friends with a great relationship and are basically all joined at the hip. And then you finally get around watching the thing and said characters barely tolerate each other, not even in a "funny friendly bickering" kinda way, and can barely even be considered friends, much less "found family". None of them would ever hang out voluntarily after this.

Indiana Jones x Willie Scott Headcanon Problems 🫠….Help!

Between two versions of this head cannon because I loved Willie and I thought her in Indiana would make a cute couple.

But I wanted to make a cannon of why they break up:

And I think when she went back to the states with him and she had to start her career over, a local club that she was able to get a nightly show with somebody spotted her and reference her back into Hollywood and she was able to get a recording contract and saying music, and over the course of a year and sometime she got more and more popular and so she was less and less at home and available and getting more popularity and Indiana is not comfortable without level of attention on him, so they decide to break up but remain good friends for the rest of his life.

I can’t decide if I want them to just be dating while all this is happening or be married.

Not that either one will be less sad or impacted by them having to break up but marriage just seems so much more evident. I don’t think Willie would just move in with him because mind you it’s the 1930s and in deeply taboo if unmarried men and women were to live together in the same home.

because according to Wikipedia, he’s been married several times🫠😖😪🤧 and if Indiana Jones fans are comfortable with him being married 56 times to 56 different women then they can be comfortable with Willie! 👏
