Takumi in 012 saying that it isn't terrible, to die surrounded by his friends, and Eito in utter despair screaming that he wont let that happen, that he'll die surrounded by him instead.
Only for Takumi to quietly admit that honestly, he's always wanted to consider Eito his friend, too, so this isn't as terrible a punishment as Eito thinks it is.
Nobody knows Meta Knight quite like DMK does. The main reason why he shows disdain towards him is due to Meta Knight's self loathing habits which DMK also interprets as an insult towards him and he wants Meta Knight to know that what he does to himself has an effect on others.
Ultimately he wants Meta Knight to just do better. DMK has a high emotional intellect, unlike Meta Knight, as a result he knows better than to care about what other people think, while Meta Knight cares way too much about appearances.
DMK values freedom a lot, especially since the Dark Mind incident he hates authority and refuses to be one like Meta Knight is to his crew.
nobody tells temari till post wedding that marrying shikamaru also means inheriting his friends (ino & choji)
it definitely takes minute for them to grow on her, but after awhile she realizes how furiously loyal they both are and that makes her want to know them.
like initially she doesn't understand the whole inoshikacho formation thing completely. she understands the concept / basics of it but then she's like. "so you're on a team with them, how does that equate to this bond you all seem to have?"
thinking about how by the time shikadai is born she understands it better. she's seen the inoshikacho rely on one another for years at that point.
and temari is glad that no matter what happens, shikadai will always have two people he can rely on for sure. she's relieved that her son will form a bond like that.
Aran Ryan HCs Because He's a Rat Bastard and I Love Him XD
He in fact has 2 sisters! A twin sister and a younger sister (Who's about 10 years younger than him). I feel like his twin sister would be named Ariel (No she'll not dress up as a mermaid, a siren would be close enough tho /SILLY), idk what to name the younger sister tho (Might name her Nessa, idk tho)
Literally him and Nessa /SILLY
His dad was a bit of a scammer, probably scamming people at the fish market (Tom Nook wannabe ahh /SILLY). His mom would probably be a farmer, I think :3.
Funny enough, I feel like the mother is just a total sweetheart but her husband and son are menaces to society-
"Isn't my son just a sweetheart?" And then this is her son- XD /SILLY
Honestly, I feel like this would be Aran and his dad-
Tbh, I also feel like he might've been a menace since day 1, well, kinda XD
I HC that Wii Aran and SNES Aran are the same person. He was already having a couple anger issues before, and in the SNES era he was probably in therapy trying to control them, but then he was probably pissed off after loosing he got his anger issues back. Idk, I'm just spitballing here
He was an apprentice to Mad Clown at one point! He taught Aran a few "tricks" here and there.
He might not seem like the type, but he enjoys nature walks! Specifically ones in deep dark forests, he likes the atmosphere :3
Was one of those kids back in elementary school that jumped off the swings during recess because "It was cool"-
100% bites people as a sign of affection
He goes to the pub at least weekly, sometimes he'd go there just to watch the fights, sometimes he's even IN the fights. He occasionally likes betting on who'd win those said pub fights.
Believes in the supernatural, especially in cryptids.
Hated black cats for a period of time, he ended up getting attached to them :') (Also would've had a superstitious phase, he's still partially superstitious now, but it's not as bad as before).
His favorite animals include anything from rats to certain types of mustelids (Especially weasels and ferrets)
we're talking more about Voisonas!!! kind of. more specifically a bit more about Soyogi and AiSuu and Kirune since I've talked about Chis-A and MYK-IV already (although there's a small bit about the latter) and also because some of my ideas have changed
so let's go!!
About Soyogi:
So recap: as mentioned, Soyogi is the CEO and chief scientist of the corporation Soyogi Co.! It's a huge company that supplies various kinds of electronics, machines and robots to various parts of the city of Sapporo (and even outside of it); as you can guess, Soyogi's very proud of the city's reliance on his technology, and with his well-mannered persona, he's quite popular with the populace. (Unfortunately, what people are not as well aware of in Sapporo is that Soyogi Co. has also been doing what it can to make sure people are reliant on their tech, even if it means making more of or funding supervillains to terrorize the town - such as a certain blonde phone addict.)
Also as mentioned beforehand, Soyogi and Meiko are old college rivals who attended the same tech university after Meiko had made her decision to pursue science. While Meiko could admit to Soyogi's intelligence, she hated how pigheaded he was, while Soyogi thought that Meiko had a lot of bluster, but not much talent.
So why does he hate the CVs so much? Basically, Soyogi is pissed off that Crypton - especially Meiko - had created a kind of technology he had not achieved, and at least at the time had no idea how to properly replicate; this is not helped by the fact that the CV series' popularity was loosening the grip he has on the Sapporo populace. So, as far he's concerned, there's two options: either destroy the CVs and Crypton Labs, or recruit the CVs to his own company. (Miku, the twins and Luka are not keen on either of these ideas.) basically he's a petty ass bitch and I find him very funny for that
Despite his attempts to smooth talk (and/or threaten) the CVs into working for him, he clearly doesn't really see them as "people" the way Meiko and Kaito do, hence why he usually refers to them by their model names. (He puts Miku very much at ill ease, especially since her empathic powers can't really get a read on his feelings.)
The Voisonas were created as a part of one of his schemes to get rid of the Cryptons by basically beating them at their own game, creating a "superior" set of "heroes" and musicians while framing the CVs for incidents in town and driving down their rep. (He has a complicated relationship with his creations...especially Chis-A.)
About the Voisonas:
Again as mentioned, the Voisonas (minus Chis-A) were ordinary humans who were transformed into super-cyborgs by Soyogi and his team. (The small tidbit about MYK-IV I wanted to add here was that his bizarre, turbulent personality is a result of his procedure being partially botched; AiSuu and Kirune comparatively are much more stable.)
AiSuu is the negative, snarky one of the group XD she really doesn't like being around people and wants to be left alone to focus on her guitar-playing, since it's her only attachment remaining post-conversion. Her dream is to become a rockstar of sorts. :> She also doesn't actually like fighting that much but well unfortunately there's not much of a choice, but Soyogi promised her career would take off, so. XD Her super ability is the ability to control electricity, which she can channel via her guitar and the rods on her head.
Kirune on the other hand is an energetic and flamboyant guy with a lot of confidence, and despite his own brand of eccentricity he's arguably one of the more normal ones in the group (and one of the genuinely nicest). He's notable in that unlike MYK-IV and AiSuu, he's by far the most mechanized and is borderline an android himself; he also is actually aware that he might have been someone else before becoming what he is now, but he's uncertain what will happen if he brings it up to Soyogi, so he just does what he's told for now. His ability is that he's basically like Jenny from My Life as a Teenage Robot - he can transform his limbs into various kinds of weapons, instruments, or tools as needed. :>
there are a few other things, but I'll talk about them some other time- but that's what I got lmao
only seen s1 of the TV show but my iwtv friends have dubbed me Claudia Understander for my revolutionary thoughts on transfem claudia. anyway! not the point. agere related thoughts. if they suck then blame the fact that I've only seen s1 so far
i get the feeling that claudia both adores and hates the idea of regression. even though in hindsight she sees that louis and lestat didn't really see her as a person of her own at that point, those years of playing house together were at the time so uncomplicatedly joyful that there's part of her that yearns for that easy happiness. but then, she's so infantilised against her will, both by everyone around her and her unchanging body. she'd hate feeling like a child, acting like a child. even for the joy it gives her
that would only get worse with anyone else around, too. if she did regress, it would be alone.
anyway this isn't even a request im just rambling. i love her. she's basically gang with abigail hobbs to me (<- guy who has been spoiled on Claudia's eventual fate)
- @sleepy-lil-kit-kat (rare me signing things moment)
YES I have many thoughts about Claudia and regression; most of them are about book Claudia because FIVE YEARS OLD is so very different from fourteen -- but I do completely understand and respect the need to age her up for the tv show.
For Claudia, I'm super interested in the idea of involuntary regression, because... how frustrating would it be to be stuck in this infantalized state, and now your own brain is "teaming up" with the world to deny you your adult mind? Making you younger than your body, even? The resulting endless simmering resentment: partially for Louis and Lestat, partially for herself.
And yes, keeping it hidden from both of her 'father figures' because she fights so hard for either of them to take her seriously, and she would be so scared that it would undo all of her work. It's almost worse for her to think that Louis might enjoy it, as the rift between them widens: that he would appreciate the chance to have his daughter back, no matter how fleeting. That daughter that's too young to resent him, too young to have her own thoughts and opinions. Once again, regression and resentment just tangled up in each other. She wants Louis to take care of her, but she doesn't want him to want to take care of her. How can she let herself feel those contradicting emotions without guilt?
I also have season 2 opinions about Claudia as a caregiver so let me know when you watch it for sure >:)
Can I just say, I scrolled a little on your posts and I am a ‘Teldryn is the Nerevarine’ truther lol. IT FITS
IT DOES!!!
It's a fairly popular headcanon among the fandom, and when I discovered the theory, I couldn’t not adopt it myself - though I am focusing on his post-canon timeline rather than what he actively went through as the Nerevarine.
I like to think Teldryn settled into his canon mercenary/hireling role as a way to move on from his past. I imagine the events of Morrowind and the eruption of Red Mountain were downright traumatizing to him, and that he put on a front of fleeing to Akavir, only to try drinking himself to death and accidentally winding up on Solstheim. That was perfect for him; nobody (aside from Neloth) knew who he used to be. Teldryn wanted to disappear, and now he's accomplished just that. Everyone thinks he poofed to a different continent but he's really just hiding under everyone's noses, and he likes it that way.
And now that I've written him as moving to Skyrim to live with the Dragonborn, he can really start to move on. Nobody in Skyrim recognizes him, and he can finally take off that damn helmet and try to enjoy his retirement.
I... also went a little nuts with the "Nerevarine is immortal and can't age or get sick" fact. In my fic, he just straight up cannot and will not die, period. He's Azura's special little dude and she keeps him alive. Is that canon compliant? Probably not, but really, the "player characters" don't truly die anyway, so why not tie that little tidbit into the story? Hell, maybe even my Dragonborn can't die, either. She's tried, and has been dangerously close to death so many times throughout her life, yet she still pushes on, alive as ever. She thinks it's because her dragon soul keeps her alive, but really, she just hits the loading screen and comes back 😅
Idk if you intended for me to ramble about my Nerevarine!Teldryn headcanons and a bit about incorporating game mechanics into fic, but I did anyway, lol. Hope you enjoyed! And thank you for the ask!
