Today my brain is on the track of birthday decisions. Now, Ive done a ramble like this before, way back, buti figured Id bring it back up again.
If the boys stayed seperate they would probably want their own birthdays and such, so thinking on the lines of it:
Taking the boy's elements into choice
Red: Fire, Fire is associated with hot, warming, comfort, sometimes disaster, I think Red chose his birthday to be in the Winter, his element is stronger in the winter, as any enemies that spawn of course, are mostly snow enemies and can easily be melted. Probably November or December.
Green: Wind element, wind is associated with peacful breezes or disasterous hurricanes, the time of season i see the most wind is spring, march winds. He probably chose March for is birthmonth.
Blue: water, water is associatedwith cooling down, drinking floods, swimming in the hot sun. Hes probably chosen his birth month to be between May- August
Vio: Earth, I associate earth with the scent of life, dirt, stirred up leaves, mushrooms. So id honestly put vio with an Autmn birthday, September
Shadow: Shadow wants to be edgy, hes probably chose october 31st, hyrule's great halloween fest. He also makes it seem like the festival is all for him and will often flop over everyones shoulder asking if they got him a gift.
Please remember: this is just a ramble, . So, what are your thoughts on the matter? Id love to see what others think ^^
Trying to see if stranger things is worth the watch just to see people headcanoning a high school character as a nazi???? Like what would they do if I called that bald headed bitch a skinhead be all the way fr
All of these different type of summoners is confusing. Call me an RP scrub, but could you describe what these different summoner branches are? The Steward, the KK, etc? Their roles and cooperation with other sections?
// LOL. It’s all right <3 I wouldn’t call you a RP scrub even if I wanted to, because there is no way you could know about this (unless you’re living in my head. In that case, hello and I’m sorry for funneling you with creepy porn images)
I feel I should mention - THIS IS STRICTLY TYB-HEADCANON. This is not mentioned by Riot or any official sources. You are not forced to accept these headcanons are you own. This is simply my attempt to develop and world-build the League as an organization.
Also read-more’d for theorycrafting rant.
Okay, so … how do I start?
First of all, there would be no League without its summoners. The summoners are the League’s and IoW’s lifeblood. The number of summoners currently active at the IoW -only- is very hard for me to estimate because numbers are hard for me to grasp. How do I math. But I imagine there is quite a handful of bunch, if we take a sensible approach while also the fact the LoL has a pretty damn big player base.
The summoners between themselves are divided in ranks - something we call Divisions.
Unranked summoners or not-quite-level thirty are considered to be apprentice summoners, studying to get their Arcanum Majoris degree. Think of them as pupils and students, doing the mundane tasks. Theoretically and IC-speaking, they are not summoners - they are simply studying to become one.
Junior Summoners are comparable to Bronze-ranking summoners - they are also considered ‘fledgling’ summoners, who have received their Arcanum Majoris degree and are waiting to be inducted in the official hierarchy of the summoners.
Regular summoners are the Silver Divisions - they make up the better half of the population.
Senior Summoners are the equivalent of Gold and are obviously higher on the hierarchy than Silvers, they represent the more mature layer of summoners, who have at least four-to-six years under their belt. Also, I feel I should mention that only Gold-ranking and more can be accepted as Stewards.
High Summoners are Platinum people - the very top of the top dogs, counting more than seven years of service to the League, they get plenty of privileges and respect in the Order. They are also believed to be the summoners giving the verdict in the Tribunal once the decision has been made by the rest of the League. Talk about poetic justice sometimes, hm?
The High Councilors are believed to be Diamond/Challenger Tier. There is not much to be said here other than the fact that there are currently two High Councilors forming the Council of Equity - canonically, Vessaria Kolminye and Kiersta Mandrake.
Whew, now that’s out of the way … This is the general hierarchy of the League of Legends as an organization.
The Institute of War is a big place, however, that supposedly offers some more facilities than just the standard Summoning Chambers, complemented with Nexus Crystals, Minion Inhibitors and Fields of Justice.
In the first years of the League’s creation, there have been several organizations created within the League’s heart in order to better structurize it as an organization - the Council of Equity couldn’t possibly handle so many things by themselves, now could they? Think of these organizations as summoners specialized with specific tasks and duties in order to keep the Institute of War in a good shape.
As far as we know, there are four inner-League organisations: The Steward Council, the Artificer’s Guild, the Knowledge Keepers and the Emissary Council.
If you want to read more about the Stewards, then I’ll direct you to this page [x] Edit: JUST TO UPDATE - the current Senior Steward now is known as Ethan Ramseyt.
The Artificer’s Guild, just as the name suggests, the Artificers as well as all the people dealing with the creation of items/spells/minions as well as maintaining the security wards and defensive spells of the Institute of War. The Artificers are independent of the Stewards, though the former is expected to bow down before the latter’s authority. The Head Artificer currently is a man known as Nulla Draconis.
The Knowledge Keepers encompass all the people who deal with knowledge - that includes the bookkeepers, the librarians, scribes, secretaries but also teachers and mentors. They are largely dependent of the Stewards, though they are not considered part of that branch because their duties differ almost exclusively - hence why they are considered as a sub-branch of the Stewards.
Last, but not least, the Emissary Council - they are the summoners who are not quite summoners, mostly because they spend a great deal of time away from the Institute of War, acting as diplomats, representatives and advisers in the name of the League and Council of Equity. Their name is largely symbolic, mostly because they do not have any inner hierarchy whatsoever and each individual is independent of another. They receive their orders from the Stewards and Council of Equity.
I think … I’ve said all there is to say about them all the moment. At least, this is all I could think of at the moment.
God, it hard to keep asking questions that won't force spoilers from you when you keep on with such a vague and interesting bit of foreshadowing. Besides the point, my next question: How has this change affected Tybresa's sense of identity, her sense of 'self'? Most people who attribute a lot of their life to their work tend to make it a part of who they 'are', especially men who are expected to invest a lot of their worth in their work. Does she feel lost? Or does her new job fulfill that role?
// Foreshadowing is something I really enjoy toying with <3
Well, for starters, her new job as an Emissary does little to fulfill her - in fact, it's slowly killing her. Being an Emissary effectively means that she is a diplomat, forced to attend the Embassy in Piltover during its open hours and be open to talk and discuss whatever problems/issues/suggestions come up that involves both Piltover and the League of Legends. There are plenty of opportunities, yes, but all in all, the City Council of Piltover is too busy to focus on diplomatic relationships (they're rebuilding, remember), which often ends up with her wasting her days in an empty Embassy. She is simply not taken very seriously right now, of no fault of Piltover, but mostly because Emissaries are not that 'big of a deal' in general. The only thing that makes Tybresa big enough of a deal to have the Piltovian Council give her residence in one of its finest 5-star luxury hotel/apartments is because of her reputation as a Senior Steward - not to mention she played a role in the organisation of Piltover's Harrowing, as some of you might recall.
All in all, she is terribly lost - mostly because she can find no real purpose in current job. She cannot make her voice heard because of lack of true authority, and then there are so many rules and red tape to go around that it just makes one not want to try at all. Not only that, but she is still stuck in a lapse from her old job - she was used to being in charge, having her opinion matter, call the shots, etc etc. Now it's basically a walk back and forth the Embassy and her residence, the occasional talk with a Council Representative or the Mayor and that one-odd report written to the Council as a status update. Woptee doo.
She is obviously not very thrilled with this change. She feels that her worth is being severely misunderstood, being placed in a far lesser position like this. Not only that, but she vehemently believes there is a darker reason to her dismissal than what she was fed to believe - the Council wouldn't just boot her out without a terribly good reason, mostly because Tybresa did a bloody good job holding the Institute together while also surviving it, then it is her long service which has granted her plenty of opportunities to learn the darker secrets the League - and Council, has to offer. Letting her go just like that is bound to prove a very big mistake and tactical weakness, simply because Tybresa was so involved in the League and its matters, there is little she wouldn't know about it.
On a more personal level, she is torn to bits - her pride is wounded and festering inside of her like a rabid dog, while her more melancholic side is tormenting her by asking questions that peel at her self-worth and make her doubt and second guess herself. She has a very hard time seeing things clearly now, which is affecting her perspective a great deal, making her very bitter and snappish.
Okay, allow me to rephrase: What other careers would Tybresa go for or excel in not related to the Institute of War directly? Music? Caregiving? Stay-At-Home-Mom?
// Well, ignoring the apparently no-brainer path that had Tybresa not ran away from home to 'join' the Institute of War, her fate would have been to be married with some high-ranking Demacian Individual and establish a family ...
IF, we follow that path strictly, she would obviously be a Stay-at-Home Mom with great tangents to take on the mantle of the house, aiding her husband with the responsibility and representing Demacia by being one of its high ladies.
If by whatever magic Tybresa would've remained in Demacia and not get married, chances are she would have continued to study magic. She would then either join the military as a Sorceress, or take up part of the mantle of Farrister and join in the political scene whilst giving her father the break he needed/wanted and switch over to strictly military. That way, she would indubitably show herself capable as a diplomat and an adviser.
She might also have slight tangents to be the occasional artist by selling paintings and opening galleries, perhaps do concerts. But those are very minor and unlikely paths, at least not as a main career.
I must ask, are these questions getting repetitive? Are they lacking in quality and depth? Anything that requires improvement to dig deeper in your character?
// I'm gonna address this first because it is relevant to my interests.
I find myself to appreciate this Anon a great deal to the point I want to catch them with a butterfly net and place them in a jar with air holes poked in the lid so that whenever I need someone to take me seriously and help me brainstorm my own character's headcanons, I would shake the jar and let you peep out.
And granted, I have this need for about 90% of the time.
No, these questions aren't repetitive, mostly because nobody has gone through to even ask me such in-depth questions, which I have come to seriously appreciate.
They have a surprising amount of not only quality and depth, but they also push my brain in 'Full Think Mode' which I really enjoy.
And that is a very difficult question to answer because - when is it enough? You are basically asking me how much is enough and where/what are the limits to a character's entire life. How far can one go with life? Does life have a stop - like, if it had to end, would you just keep walking into nothingness and realize the earth is no longer beneath your feet and you fall down, but not before pulling a Wiley E. Coyote stunt by taking out a sign saying 'Oh dear.' ?
All in all, whenever you have a question to throw my way, DO IT. I -always- seek to improve and dig deeper. I dig so deep, not even Deepdweller Nautilus can see me.
