My Niklaren Goldeye
If they could do something for Venom's voice kind of like the alien "gods" in Stargate that would be cool. Maybe not quite so mechanical sounding? But in a similar vein.
So, I'm a 100% in love with the legacy verse, and currently in the middle of 'Under The Hood'. I just wanted to ask if you have a person or a particular actor who you imagine as Jonathan or Abby when you write them? Like, what do they look like?
There have been a few headcasting suggestions that I’ve really liked for all the characters. For Jon, people have suggested Chris Brochu and Luke Mitchell, and to me either could look the part. (I say this having never actually seen their shows). I once thought William Mosely had the right amount of boyish going on.
For Abby, Morgan Lily or Sophie Nelisse. Also, Lily James as a grown-up Abby.
And there is one picture that looks so very Jon and Terry that it pains me.
The Queen kids in my head don’t precisely match up with any specific actors, and I kind of like leaving the physical descriptions loose enough for people to imagine what they prefer.
I know the person you base Jon off of for fics, but I'm curios as to what Abby looks like? because I picture someone who looks eerily similar to Thea. Also, fun fact you may or may not know if you look up the meaning behind Abigail it means a father's joy.
There are multiple suggestions I’ve really liked for both of the kids, and I get a huge kick out of seeing other people’s headcasting. The Queen kids in my head don’t precisely match up with any specific actors, and I kind of like leaving the physical descriptions loose enough for people to imagine what they prefer.
I chose Abby’s name in part for its meaning. It felt appropriate, given what she is to Oliver. There are also some nice connections to the meanings of Felicity and Laetitia’s names.
I know you probably have your own headcanon for what Abby Queen looks like, but I've just watched the Book Thief, and in my head, Sophie Nelisse is exactly how I picture Abby.
Whoa. Not only is she precious, she absolutely looks like she could be Oliver and Felicity’s kid.
Damn good casting.
Special concern area (aka granular lockdown) thoughts...
If they should ever make a jukebox musical about Barry Manilow, I'd highly recommend Mike Faist or Andrew Barth Feldman for the lead role.
Outline for my NaNoWriMo project is shaping up. I was chatting with @starrla89 last week about not knowing what to work on, said “TTYL I have to get in the shower,” and of course, my muse lives in there, so within five minutes of washing my hair I was like “OMG He’s not a teacher but they can still meet in a library!” &c, &c.
So in addition to filling out my beat sheet and fleshing out some character questionnaires, I’ve chosen a couple of hotties to head-cast in the leads:
Old reliable, JRM, as my lonely monster:
And (as surprising to me as it is, I’m sure, to you), this specific photo of James Van Der Beek as my monsterfucker badly shaken skeptic:
My working title is Ravening. Just yr average dark, blood-drenched, impossible (and impossibly kinky) love story. Boy does not believe in monsters. Boy meets monster. Boy fucks monster (and vice versa). Boy and monster vs The World.
As many times as I’ve done this I’ve never recorded it... #MakeUpTings #SPFX #LifeCast #HeadCast #headcasting #MakeMeAMonster #SoonToBe #MeButNotMe https://www.instagram.com/p/BwGJd97Azn0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1vgduxbpwwt3j
