Digimon Frontier - Queer Headcanons
I will continue with some of these posts, because until the semester ends I will probably either way just post what I am feeling like posting. Again based on the conversation I had with @seventeenlovesthree.

Kanbara Takuya - Pan
I noted before, I kinda read almost all the goggleheads in Digimon as some flavor of pan or bisexual. Though Takuya I see as someone who would need forever to figure it out. I always see him as having this on and off thing going with Izumi, but never actually getting it to work. Mainly because Izumi's family keeps moving and all. So at some point he does get over it and starts looking elsewhere.
Minamoto Koji - Bisexual
The one thing about Koji is, that I actually consider him to be the one Lone Wolf character with an ounce of self-awareness, aka: He is the one who actually does realize that he is queer on his own and without prompting and also does not go into denial about it. Though given I have not written a whole lot about him, I never explored how he might be dating later on.
Orimoto Izumi - Bisexual
As noted above: I have written Izumi often to be on and off with Takuya from their teenage days on, but it does not really work out. Somehow I can actually see her ending up in a nice relationship with another girl.
HImi Tomoki - Demi-Gay
I hear you: "Why would Tomoki be gay?" Well, why wouldn't he? In the show he is in an age where he does not show much of any interest in romance or anything like that yet, but eventually he might as well be gay. I do not even know why my brain decided on this. It might just be that the gay pride flag is very color coded to fit with his color scheme. But yeah.
Shibayama Junpei - Bicurious In Denial about anything
Junpei I see as a characters who... Well... He does already have internalized a whole bit of toxic masculinity. Which I personally would attribute to him being fat, being bullied for it and then trying to compensate by performing masculinity "better" than anyone else. Which obviously is going to make it hard whenever he really gets into puberty and having to deal with all that. (I do not say it enough, though: All the Digimon kids need therapy.)
Kimura Koichi - Graysexual
Koichi I see as someone who is not overtly sexually attracted to most people, though with some few exceptions few and far between. He probably will never really self-identify with this specific label, because he just does not care. But it is what I would use to name the thing I could see with him. Yeah...
