~ Headlight Overalls, 1908

I'm very fond of Mr. Headlight here with his dignity and comfort. I've decided that he worked in a railyard and carried his lunch in one of those old-fashioned metal lunchboxes with a domed lid. His wife's name was Maybelle and she made excellent ginger snaps.

*Larned, Carter & Co., makers of Headlight Overalls, were acquired by Carhartt in the 1960s.
