Does anyone know one of those websites that forces you to write for thirty minutes? Or like… hides what you’ve written so you stay focused?

I wanna get back into writing (mostly Healing Rust cause I have a cool idea I just nEED TO FUCKING WRITE IT) and I need Help to actually kick my ass into gear

would be accurate for me to describe 'healing rust' as 'catsvdogs without the romance'?

I mean… kinda?? CatsVDogs is much more of an AU, and Healing Rust is sort of a canon continuation from the end of V9

In CatsVDogs their relationship (friendship) also starts MUCH earlier in Jaune’s time living in the Ever After (within the first decade or so). Also, ya know, CC gets turned into a “human” pretty early on, that’s why the romantic feelings blossomed

In Healing Rust the Cat remains a Cat, there is no romance (as you mentioned), and Jaune and the Cat only really started being friends about two decades in. It also focuses a LOT more, almost exclusively in fact, on Jaune’s time healing in Vacuo (although I admit there hasn’t been a lot of healing lol). The Journals fic is MOSTLY for my own reference and context, cause the FOCUS is the healing after

Also fun fact, I made an AU of my own AU (CVD) that I’ve been calling the Sunshine AU. Might post stuff about it if I ever get around to organizing my thoughts. But you know you’re going off the rails when you start making AUs of your own content
