"What's it matter to you?"
It had been a while since he'd seen the warlock there in front of him. He couldn't even remember the last time they'd both been in the same room, and yet seeing her there in front of him had him wondering if she wasn't there to join his new cause. All warlocks in the city were given a choice; to follow their High Warlock's lead or to leave. He wouldn't force them to join but he would prefer they didn't work with the Clave. Magnus didn't think many of them would but there would always be those who he didn't know what their intentions would be. And she just happened to be one of them. He didn't think she would join the Clave. The last time they'd been together he remembered her making it known she was in it for herself. If that was still true he had nothing to worry about. But he needed to find that out first and foremost.
"Unless you're here to give me a message and then I might sit here and listen."
