This Bacon Lettuce Avocado Turkey and Pepper Jack Burger is a tasty and healthy choice for a burger. It tastes great and is great for a cookout on the weekend or dinner during the week.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground turkey. 4 slices of bacon. 4 slices of pepper jack cheese. 4 hamburger buns. 1 ripe avocado, sliced. 4 leaves of lettuce. Salt and pepper, to taste.
Instructions: Warm up your grill or a skillet on the stove over medium-high heat. Add salt and pepper to the ground turkey and shape it into 4 burger patties. The bacon should be cooked in a different pan until it's crispy. Then it should be put on paper towels to drain. The turkey patties should be grilled for four to five minutes on each side, or until they reach 165F 74C inside. In the last minute of cooking, cover each patty with a plate and add a slice of pepper jack cheese. This will melt the cheese. While the patties are cooking, put the hamburger buns on the grill and toast them until they turn golden brown. To put the burgers together, start with a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun. Then add a turkey patty with melted cheese, a crispy bacon slice, and avocado slices. Place the other half of the bun on top and use a toothpick to hold it in place if necessary. Add your favorite toppings and sides to your Bacon Lettuce Avocado Turkey and Pepper Jack Burger before you serve it.
