Use your leftover pickle juice as a brine to add a unique flavor to your skirt steak. The end product is a dish that's flavorful, smoky, and tenderperfect for any occasion when you grill or have a barbecue.
Ingredients: 1 1/2 lbs skirt steak. 1 cup leftover pickle juice. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon soy sauce. 1 teaspoon black pepper. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper. 2 tablespoons olive oil.
Instructions: In a bowl, combine pickle juice, minced garlic, soy sauce, black pepper, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper to create the brine. Place skirt steak in a resealable plastic bag and pour the brine over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight. Preheat your smoker to 225F 107C. Remove the skirt steak from the brine, pat it dry, and let it come to room temperature. Brush the steak with olive oil and place it on the smoker grates. Smoke the skirt steak for 30-40 minutes or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Remove from the smoker and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain. Serve and enjoy your flavorful pickle juice brined grilled skirt steak!
