We're launching our music trade! It was inspired by rainbow thread dreams and childhood chain letter memories.
It's an experiment, really.
You sign up (or a friend mailed it to you and you're now stuck by default), you receive some music in the mail (not like a digital download, but a tape, or a cd, vinyl). When you get the music you listen to it, and you let us know what you thought about it by emailing us a picture or a comment about it and we'll post it here.
THEN, you can choose to keep the music, and send your friend (any friend you want who you think would dig the music you're sending out) a new music and the original letter we send you with directions on how to continue the trade.
OR you listen for a few days, go download the new music, or order your own, or whatever and then send it back out into the world!
YOU can't forget to send us an email when you get your music! The whole experiment is to track the music as it travels about, to see where things get traded and what people thought! IT'S CRUCIAL! And, you can't forget to pass the music on!
So, here we go. I'm mailing out the first 10 letters tomorrow! If it goes well, we'll send out a new batch of letters/musics!
