Hemionitis Arifolia
( Heart Fern)
If you've followed me since 2019, you might know I've tried this one before. She was doing pretty good, until the time we were moving to our new place. The move really stressed her and she passed away.
Almost 2 years afte, I saw this plant at a local nursery, which is rare. So, I thought to myself: "It's is time."
This is week 3 of taking care of her. She is catalogued as a "hard plant", but the reality is that just like calatheas, she has very specific needs and won't be able to survive without them.
✓High humidity, she won't tolerate any dryness below 65%-70%~. The leaves will start drying up quickly.
✓Water small amounts, but often. I'm doing it every other day.
✓Medium bright light
