Just had a thought: Imagine the major family finding out that Pete got captured by the minor one. Obviously, Pete's friends are concerned for him and want to make sure he's ok. Now imagine them getting mad on Pete's behalf and saying some nasty stuff about Vegas (how he's a psycho and he'll eventually get what he deserves or something). And Pete just has to sit there and not say anything because there's no way he could ever tell them that actually he understands why Vegas is the way he is and that what he wishes for him isn't punishment but healing and that he fucking misses his touch and their time together. He has to keep quiet because no one in the major family could ever even begin to understand why Pete feels this way about Vegas. So he sits and he listens and his heart's fucking breaking.
Anon, I'm asking this with absolute sincerity: Are you trying to emotionally destroy me??? Even just the thought of this rips my heart out. 💔
What's terrifying is that I can totally see this happening. Like, I might even be more surprised if it doesn't happen, that's how likely it is.
Another thought: What if this shot—
—is from right after that conversation? Everybody has just left the room and Pete is sitting there staring at his food, but he can’t eat so he just shoves it away. And then he catches sight of his hands, and he’s suddenly reminded of how Vegas tied them, and it settles in again just how much he wants that even though he shouldn’t want it and he can’t have it, and he tells himself to move on and believe every foul word they’re saying about Vegas but he just...can’t. Not anymore.

the prologue for asra STILL makes me sob. how he tried to tell us he loved us again, but it really hurt us and he had to make us forget again before we went catatonic. and then can u imagine watching them a couple days later them being with somebody else, maybe even the person who orphaned him. Or if you chose him he’s scared of hurting you again
they even have the same hairstyle 😭
