My spamton mortality/discourse/whatever opinion is that yeah he did do all that and perhaps is a smidge bit evil but it's okay. he still gets to hang out with the gang and aid them on their adventures as a cool pair of shades with a money buff . And. He's their friend now, it's true, trust me. "He tried to kill them" What's a little attempted murder between friends? My dumb hc is that at least Kris does not gaf anymore that Spamton tried to take their soul. it's all good now, trust. The nonbinary lion does not concern themselves with attempts on their life. Nobody in the gang or in castle town calls Spamton redeemed or "good now", he's just allowed to frolic freely through town like a normal citizen, and every darkner who hates him or simply wish he didn't live there just has to put up with it because the lightners (and Ralsei (and lancer)) adopted this little evil freak as their pet uncle. Again, not redeemed, but I like to think he's chilled out enough to the point of not having any schemes to make it bigger anymore.

If it wasn't obvious enough, this is all about regular route Spamton post-neo (and ideally beating him pacifist style since the attempt at cutting his strings and freeing him, even if it failed, probably meant alot to him) but as for weird route Spamton? ummmm well it doesn't matter anyway because he's DEAD and in super darkner hell now.

YESSSSS HE'S THAT CREEPY DOLL THAT THEY (Kris) LIKE IN THE MOVIE.

Okay, a lot of people have already pointed out a lot of good stuff in that text dump Toby dropped today so there's something else I want to talk about instead.

Although Susie likes to tease her friends, she's not callous. She's very sympathetic, kind, and observant. She wouldn't be the type to make this joke unless she knows Kris would be okay with it. Especially after having seen Kris's reaction after the Spamton NEO fight. If all Kris felt about Spamton was fear, something that they'd not want to think about at all, Susie wouldn't tease Kris by referencing something that could remind them of it so casually.

Call me biased, but I interpret that this may mean that Kris likes Spamton enough that Susie notices it.

Idk. I could be wrong. But that's just my small takeaway from this.
