Mammon was a slippery fuck, and Dominique knew that if she hadn’t honed in on him then he would of done his best to disappear. It was what he was infamous for after all, although usually it was whispered he did so when bets when array and money was expected from him.
Although a brutal interrogation seemed fitting enough as well.
A sickeningly sweet giggle escapes the vampire’s lips, her grip tightening once more. “A coincidence indeed.” She ‘agreed’, stepping from just behind the demon so she was in front of him. “-- Now we don’t have to worry about walking in circles around each other. Such good luck, non?”
Her gloved hand slipped from his shoulder to his wrist - grip still tight in warning - before she’s tugging at him; leading him away in a specific direction; her demeanor and expression still flowery. “We have many things to talk about, don’t we? Especially with your new choice in friendships! Believe me, mon cheri, i’m happy for you, truly.”
And when she said happy for him, of course she meant happy for her beloved friend; Noé seeming to be blossoming under this new attention he was receiving, the new feelings he was having. It was precious really...
.... Which was why she had to ensure that nothing would steal that look from his face.
“I’m starving. You’re such a dear for treating me to lunch, truly.”

the hand that was lazily tracing patterns against his boyfriend’s bare back rose to run his fingers through white locks, almost as if he was setting some of the disheveled hair back into place.
“let’s go on a road trip together. i’ll make sure it’s cool with your old man before i steal you away. but it’d be nice, don’t you think?”
“Hm...? Mm-hm...”
Jack’s response was equally hushed, the hums a little muffled against damp skin; blue eyes still closed as he laid heavily against Shaw, face resting against his bare chest. His body was partially draped over him, arms settled on either side of him as he could feel the soft thumps of his boyfriend’s heartbeat underneath his face, his skin tingling underneath the tips of his fingers. Truthfully, he had been close to slipping into sleep before the older’s voice cut into the silence of the room, spent entirely from their ‘activities’ only moments prior.
North had already been contacted ages ago before they tumbled into bed. It was funny how even if Jack almost forgot that Shaw was the one to prompt him; reminding him to shoot off a text, sometimes saying it suggestively so he knew exactly why he should tell him that his curfew was going to be missed tonight.
Funny how far their relationship had come...
He shifted slightly, lifting his head just so; so that his cheek rested on his shoulder rather than on his chest, so he could crack open his eyes to peer into his lover’s face. If he was trying to make sure he was paying attention then his actions were dreadfully contradicting; his gentle caresses up his spine and into his hair almost enough to make him drift off entirely.
“A road-trip?” He’d never been on one; if anything they only sounded like something that kids on television shows go on. Especially in the rom-coms. Jack tried to picture it: him and Shaw, piled together in Shaw’s car; maybe with some packed bags taking up space in either the backseat or the trunk; Jack’s legs curled up on the passenger seat as he stared uncomprehendingly at a large out dated map on his knees... reaching over to hold onto his boyfriend’s hand whenever he felt the need for it... passing easy banter... them stopping for the night in either some cheap motel or deciding to bum it in the car... no real destination in their minds, and yet wanting to stop everywhere. It wouldn’t matter if they were together.
A faint blush dotted his cheeks, a slow smile spreading on his lips as he ducked his head into the crook of his neck; wanting to hide the strange happiness bubbling up within him. “... Yeah. I think that’d be really nice. And lots of fun too.” He wondered what North would say: his foster father tended to be easy with things and was very practical, but... he was still... well, a dad. While it frustrated him sometimes, he couldn’t help but love how cared for he was with him. And that Shaw recognized that and knew he had to go through him first.
Lips pressed gently against his collarbone, pressing his bare body even closer to his. The surge of love he felt for him frightened him, like it usually did, but he tried to dial back down the fear and anxiety; reminding himself that this wasn’t a trap. That Shaw wasn’t like that.
“-- Let’s do it!”

20. Is there someone you admire on here?
Oh that’s easy , @fearstouch / @eldritchrising is the first person that comes to mind. Jab has been at this rp game for so long and manages to continue to write the most incredible plots and characters. Have you seen their worldbuilding ? Even in AUs or fandoms with very little actual lore , they can do so freaking much. I’m always in awe.
21. What is it you prefer: angst, fluff, or smut? Why?
Kind of no preference ? Like , explicit smut is something I rarely do , but I can talk about spicy content between ship partners for ages. I’m always ready for soft content but I can just as easily start on a really painful train of thought. I’m just happy to have writing partners I can throw anything at.

@boyancient Jan oh my god if you want amazing , extensively thought out characters and plots and verses ? Look right here. I am BEYOND excited every time I get the luxury of seeing multiple paragraphs of thoughts on discord , and tbh just talking to her is great.
@mtchstck Alex 🔥 has such vast amounts of talent I once had a dream about Livvy specifically and it was great. That’s how you know they have a good character. I am very happy to have found them.
@sniperwithasmoke / @fightknife / @mirafirstmate Alex 🔪 I stumbled across her because Jab made me not be a big baby and talk to her and I am so glad I did. Everything she does makes me smile , yes even ruining me emotionally.
@odinsn / @qvvill / @unnwin Banana is an absolute treasure okay. Not only is her writing incredible , with such fantastic takes on canon characters , but she always manages to make my day with any message she sends , including the random nonsensical ones. Especially those let’s be real.
23. What’s the one thing you dislike about the roleplaying community on Tumblr?
*looks at the anon from last night* For real though , the way people take this hobby as something serious is tiring. No one is required to write with anyone else , this is all for us to have fun and make friends.
24. Where do you draw your inspiration from?
Often times muses I write will assign a sort of central theme. For example , I talk a lot about Diana and her representation of grey morality. Rachel has a focus on identity and finding one. Caleb and Delilah have similar themes of revenge in the Wild West but with different motives. It’s getting to the core of character and knowing what remains their driving force as a creative entity in my head.

Why doesn’t that make him feel better? If anyone’s answer should, it would be Keith’s. Allura is maybe a close second. Shiro has been toying with asking her about the things he’d missed. If he was really supposed to keep being a paladin if they’d switched around so easily. A part of him is still bitter about it. And kind of angry. At Black. At everyone. He stares down the table between them like it’s an enemy. Even the lion is quiet, though he knows she’ll keep him up trying to explain. Trying to make him remember their initial bond that feels far away and forever ago. He wants to hit something. Maybe sleep for three days. “Are you sure about that?”

victor wasn't going to admit that noé had seen correctly ( as he had plenty of times before whenever he had caught glimpse of the businessman actually being gentle ). it was easier for him to flat out deny it, finding other ways to divert his boyfriend's attention for the time being.
it had just been the two of them within souvenir, as mr. mills was in the kitchen getting more tea for them. normally, mr. mills would be more present in whomever had come by to eat at the restaurant, but for once victor had wanted to see noé himself. he knew that his boyfriend's favorite sweet was tarte tatin, and had attempted to make it himself as a desert. it was his first time, but judging by how pleased the other was, he was pleased that he enjoyed.
which had been the reason for his smile. not that he was actually going to tell noé that. yet.
"besides. if i'm going to try different deserts at souvenir, i have to make sure that they're worth it. nothing more, nothing less."
“Oh...”
Noé couldn’t help the small smile that pulled on his own features; melting in from his previously surprised expression. There was something so endearing about the exchange, how with a blink of his eyes Victor’s expression had changed from that peculiar softness into his usual neutral expression, despite the younger being almost certain that he hadn’t imagined it.
Violet eyes glanced down at the dish before him, the tarte tatin having been made perfectly, the way he liked it, perhaps even better than the ones that he would of gotten as a present from his adoptive grandfather. It had been a surprise; he had received a text from his boyfriend earlier while at work to come by the small shop, and had been served by Mr.Mills himself, before Victor came out and took over.
He couldn’t help but think that this gestured just seemed... like something done specifically for him. Something made as a surprise for him, because maybe the other knew that it would make him happy. Cause he remembered Noé claiming this to be his favorite desert, and he wanted to show how closely he listened when he spoke about such random facts.
The warmth settling in his chest only grew further; growing more and more until it heated his cheeks, prompting a soft blush of pleasure as he cut off a small piece of his dish with the fork in his hands. He didn’t know what to do with the happiness swirling in his chest, where to put it or how to let it not consume him; not when face to face with with a gesture such as this.
“Ah... of course.” Tanned cheeks were still warm with his blush as he looks up into the others similarly purple eyes, the bright smile on his lips wordlessly showing how he didn’t believe his boyfriend for a moment. Laughter escaped him a bit as he brought the fork back up to his lips, popping it into his mouth and letting the sweet flavor settle on his tongue again. “Well -- it’s completely delicious! I’d say that you could add it to your usual menu for sure...”
