Controversial opinion:
Astrid should have been Chief and she and Hiccup should just stayed friends, and Hiccup should have been king of the wilderwest like in the books. But none of you want to talk about that. Though I'm probably bias. I don't like movie Astrid very much and wanted her to be a lesbian chief. Plus Hiccup never liked or wanted to be Chief. He just wanted to be free and keep flying endlessly with his soulmate Toothless. But the last movie had to go and ruin that. Just once I would like a dragon and human to have a happy ending together. Whether it's just a platonic soulmate bond or not. Stop separating Dragons from their human soulmates! Is that too much to ask!
