I can't change it but every time anybody talks about people who are aromantic it always feels like we're monsters.

Especially if we have a more well known sexual orientation, while being asexual and _____romantic seems to be widely accepted and normalized more, I still can't help feeling like a monster anytime anybody hears about my orientation.
