[Unfortunately, CHARIZARD cannot see or hear you until after it has been captured.]
[It seems you can't do anything yet. You're still stuck in a cutscene. CHARIZARD speaks before CODY gets the chance to answer you.]
[You don't listen to CODY just yet. You sit there idly, watching the game with the morbid curiosity of whether or not CODY will fold under the pressure.]
Oh lol genuinely Bakushin can just latch onto you. Like, oh, this horse is good for beginners? Just use Speed and she’ll win? And it was true. I didn’t expect myself to get attached to her. I was wholly thinking I was going to be a Special Week guy. And then this horse girl came into my life screaming Bakushin and I knew that my life was forever changed. Sakura Bakushin O best horse girl
she's faster than lightning. she has no stamina to speak of. she's loud as fuck. she's dumb as rocks. i didnt say her name, but you thought of her, didnt you?

No offense Ms. Giratina, but isn’t the principle of judging mortal people, judgy? I’m not saying you can’t be but it’s the pot calling the kettle black. Everybody’s judgy, one way or another, even if they’re mortal or not.
There's a distinct difference in what those judgements are, since it seems like there's a distinct lack of understanding of that.
When I judge mortals, it's me assuming they think I'm an asshole just because I destroy things and have a form they've made scary bedtime stories about.
When mortals judge me, they assume I've come to slay their firstborns, steal their cattle, slaughter entire villages and cause earthquakes and tsunamis meant to erase entire civilizations.
Offense taken.

I can maybe guess twin parent divorcecore comes from a book but I don’t believe that tbh since they’re so bare bones and pretty vague I don’t think it’d outright say ‘oh ya their parents are divorced’ but Who Knows
twin parent divorcecore
I mean? Maybe a Lapistoria artbook is out there? I don't know? But I kinda doubt it?
Also when I tried asking the person who rescinded my removal of that (afaik) false history they deadass deleted my comment without responding, you know, like someone who's defending stuff someone made up 6 years ago. They vague almost everyone in the Pop'n tag anyways I've been over this before
Honestly I love fallen leaf so seeing kris have no quarrel is like. Really heavy hitting. She needs a hug
i’m glad the idea hits hard, haha!
i feel like the vibes of kris being replaced by lyra is different from that of leaf getting replaced by red. the dynamic of “girl gets replaced by a boy” isn’t the same as “girl gets replaced by The Shiny New Girl™” to me.
lyra's was actually poorly received - many people hated her as a design, and as a replacement to kris, without considering the reason why a replacement was created in the first place. that’s why i don't find it right to create a story where kris seeks revenge against lyra - because it's not lyra's fault she replaced kris. kris and lyra are both "victims" in different ways to me, and i don't like to view lyra as being "responsible" for kris's replacement.
i personally don’t like revenge pokepastas where the “replacer” is an innocent party - that’s why i don’t characterize it that way with fallen leaf. fallen leaf’s story is about leaf retaliating against an oppressor who considered her a threat to “his legacy” as the “one and only hero of kanto.” but lyra isn’t kris’s oppressor, she is kris’s successor as the girl player character. lyra will still be there for the girls who need to see themselves through her, just as kris was. it’s just a sad feeling for kris, knowing that your legacy is being passed on to someone who doesn’t even look like you.
that’s the difference between leaf and kris to me, i think!
man I haven’t touched an inch of yasuhime but I saw Inuyasha when I was like ten and never finished rewatching it last year but. I always thought they had a father and daughter relationship but people are weird and gross! He’s like. Clearly her caretaker at the very least. Same with Kohaku! Why are people like this.
Don’t ask me why people are like this. I always say it’s because most of the shippers see it behind rose coloured glasses. Many (not all) see it behind this veiled wonderful thing they’ve written in fanfiction. So far it’s nothing like a good fanfiction. Actually it’s a god damn nightmare. I wanted better for Rin. I knew she was a possibility from the beginning, but I imagined the kid stuff being glossed over in favor of her being pushed into being an adulthood. Her age is listed at 29. 29-14 = 15. Math ain’t lying. She lost her family, was abused. Lost her family again, left in a tree. What’s sunrise got against Rin?
