This one's for me and the like 3 other people who enjoy Hectorpunz lmao
So like, at first I was like: What’s the Hectunzel deal? But after some scrolling, there was an post on explaining “imagine Hector having dismissed this idea of the Sundrop only to find Rapunzel right there in the tower”…and then it clicked.
I forgot who made the post, but it explained one of my fav tropes and then I was like “ooooh. Yeaaa. No I get it now. I totally get it…omg I’m loving this. I need more of this.”
Like I’m a New Dream fan. But I’m also a fan of having Rapunzel explore other relationships cuz like there’s a lot for her to engage in and I wish TTS would’ve done that (sure you can keep New Dream as the endgame, but there’s no harm in having Rapunzel experiment).
But Hectunzel does have some of my fav tropes. Mainly feral person with calm person who is patient and loves them very much with a dash of coping with trauma together.
I’m loving everyone’s Hectunzel content too.
It's been a hot minute since I've done anything for the ship, BUT... Yeah, it's a lot of fun. I'm a big fan of crackships and rarepairs just because it's fun to explore!
I do enjoy some canon ships, but it's 100% more fun for me to explore something NOT canon on my own time and on my own terms, and I do think Hector and Punz could have had an interesting dynamic, even platonically.
