Am I the only one that actually like Mordred from Justice League Unlimited? Idk, the way Morgaine treated him in the end of Kid Stuff (won't spoil, don't worry), kind of gave me some hyper-controling parent vibes (in fact the way this kids see adults in general make me wonder if it has to do with her), also in the tie in comics (with I admit aren't necessarily CANON canon) woman literally slaped him across the face and Mordred didn't even looked surprised about it.
Idk, I know the show wasn't suppose to focus on him or on characters like Shining Knight, but I would pay for a comic or mini series were Mordred ran way from Morgaine and is adopted by Justin, specially because
1. "ran away from abusive mother" and "quited having supervillain hench-boy mentality" doesn’t have to happen at the same time and I love myself a redemption arch
2. The fact that Mordred exist at all in this universe and is the son of Morgaine, means that either JLU is going with "Mordred is Arthur's nephew" version of the Arthurian mythos, with give Justin a fan dilema of "duty to take care of my king's only living direct relative", OR that they are going with "Mordred is Arthur's son born of an afair with Morgaine" to with gives the question "was Arthur that good of a man? And if not, them how a good man like Justin was tricked to think he was?" with honestly, can do a lot for character growth
