OKAY while jealous!buck is something i am absolutely here for what if the true jealous firefam member is chimney? yeah he's captain now, but eddie is monopolizing the time of HIS best friend (hen). and really hen can read him like a book, but she's kind of in pain too and missing him. so she laughs it up with eddie, who also misses his partner. and just. everyone misses everyone. but no one more than acting captain han and his slamming doors and short responses and strict professionalism on the job.

hen and eddie wearing matching costumes for halloween and buck devising the most show stopping couples costume for him and ravi so he can Win at being chill and normal. meanwhile eddie and hen’s costumes are explicitly gay & eddie using it to try and to come out but buck doesnt even notice cuz he’s over here buying a bespoke ensemble and learning sfx makeup

in addition to jealous!buck it is nice to see some different combos and their dynamics that’s what gives 911 the family feels

the drunk ten year olds were so goofy i loved it

i still think justice for eddie for diving off a bridge and swimming that far and not getting all the credit 💔💔

i also quite liked how this premiere was a similar style to season three of having the first episode way more loosely tied into the big disaster as opposed to just diving straight in
