The scoff that escaped Eva’s lips hadn’t entirely been intentional but nevertheless she made no attempt at trying to hold it back. After all, how could she with an offer like that? From Klaus of all people? It certainly would have sounded more convincing had he threatened her or those she cared about. She shook her head with a disbelieved smirk, rubbing the side of her half-burned face.

                                                   “Help me?” Eva questioned, furrowing her eyebrows in confusion. A tint of mockiness was undeniable within in her southern tone, “What the hell makes you think you can help me? You know nothin’ what it’s like to be what I am.”

“——is it true??” katherine had been the one to tell her - and anyone who stepped foot into the boarding house - that klaus had gotten hayley marshall pregnant. still, caroline felt like she needed to hear it from him to actually believe it. because 1) katherine was known for her lies, 2) vampires shouldn’t be able to procreate - granted, klaus was part werewolf - and 3) klaus and hayley?? that’s a pairing she didn’t see happening. at all. “should i get you a ‘dad of the year’ shirt or something??”
