@hedwwig I'm gonna make a proper post but once and future nerd is like scripted and does stuff w sound design and the characters are different enough that its rlly easy to get in the groove of things. There's a ~handmaiden n feudal lordess~ relationship and a gay old soldier with a Past™ and q pan+poly rogue type lady character. At the center there's these three hs kids who end up in this kids spoofy fantasy world. Two of the kids are the jock dude-cheerleder couple (they give Depth though....) And the other is this black geek who uses nerd media as pure escapism? Its a Lot of fun n tbh I usually have issues following most podcasts and this ones cast is kinda extensive the fact that there's like...three concurrent type stories and different accents (the elvesvall have southern accents and the dude playing like.... Racist Head Elf says his inspo partially is pierce Hawthornes dad) The mage lady of the group is Also black and like it deals w social issues but has trigger warnings and god I could gush for ages (Its also kinda long episode wise)
