So, I finally got to try the infamous Heineken 0.0 alcohol-free beer. . My verdict? It’s actually... not bad. It actually DOES taste like beer, or rather, Heineken beer, to be precise. There’s that little hoppy bite in the beginning, the malty kick in the initial palate... . It’s only when it sits a bit longer in your mouth that you notice the lack of body in the liquid, like a beer that has been diluted with ice water. . The Heineken beer flavour is still there, carbonation is still there, it’s just that lack of body and finish that truly marks it as alcohol-free. . If you’re a regular lager drinker who doesn’t want to get too sloshed, this might work for you. It at leaat tastes more like beer than a lot of the other 0-alcohol beers I’ve had before. .
