there are deffo people in hong kong protesting who are liberals or hold america up as a shining example of freedom, but thats mostly due to the image america has created of itsself as that. i used to think that too. this however doesnt reflect on all of the hong kong protests, as there are deffo ML and anarchists groups there supporting it.

i think everyone has believed that at some point, but we soon realize its not true

Yeah, I noticed. I’m not bothered. I’m annoyed that this is a repetitive pattern of behavior so predictable that I absolutely know it’ll happen every time we post any kind of pride stuff, and I’ve watched so many small providers get bullied, and other people tell me that it’s kept them from posting their own pride stuff for sale.

I’m stubborn enough to fight the fight, not for the people I’m arguing with, but for the people who are getting bullied, too, to know they’re not alone. I know I’m not changing the minds of those bullies.
