Honourable priest of the largest temple in the western outback. Known for his outstanding size and even grander knowledge of artefacts. Currently, the main thing on his mind is the group of six conmen, heretics, and fools that have been charged with ridding the area of evil.
His temple, as with a great many in the region, venerate the demigod hero who slew an ancient mage and, through his strength, ascended to godhood. It is said that when evil rises again the hero will return from his divine seat to reshape the mortal world.

I like how this one turned out! Sojiro's not my favorite, but I enjoyed crossing him over with Nanjo from persona 1 since I think they're both the heirophant arcana. Though, admittedly, I was a bit more focused on the setting and trying to make it look not-too-big for the characters? I may have failed there lol.
Hierophant stands for ritual and traditional customs. It can represent sacrament definitive circumstances. can often provide the traditional comforts of belief, and reflect the dark abuses that come with such positions.

Your eyes wandered over the arcade. It was a busy day, yet most kids were standing in one place. Your squinted your eyes before they landed on two men, both dressed in white shirt and jeans, raiding the claw machine. They had already raided all the dolls from one of the machines, yet continued to play on another machine.
You got up from your seat and stalked over with an annoyed expression, weaving your way through the sea of kids before clearing your throat loudly once you stood behind the men.
They both turned around, looking at you.
"Can you stop? We need those dolls in the long run, you know." You said, crossing your arms as you tapped your foot on the ground. The guy who was playing looked at the other one in confusion. The one on the side nodded at you before speaking to the player in Korean.
You huffed at the translation and looked at the player.
"I said that you're raiding the machine and I want you to stop." You said in Korean and the man looked at you before letting go of the joystick. You gave a fake smile before walking back to your desk and sitting down. You grabbed your phone, checking the time before grabbing your stuff. 5 more minutes before you were finished. Just on que, your coworker entered and took your place. You left the arcade and sighed as you stood in the mall. You then turned left before freezing as you saw the 2 men again, both dragging a bag behind them.
"Jesus... Whatever, not my problem." You mumbled as you continued walking, slipping your earphones in and putting your favorite music on.
"Excuse me?" Someone asked and you looked up from your phone, taking out one of your earphones before sighing.
"What? I'm not working anymore, so I honestly don't care about the plushies." You replied and he shook his hand before giving you one.
"Just to say thanks for not banning us." He said before running back to his friend, leaving you standing with a white fox-plushie in your hands.
"He could at least have given a name with this..." You mumbled before continuing your way out of the mall and home.
After an hour and a half (too long, but whatever), you got home. You entered before looking at the plushie again. You stared at it a few seconds before putting it on the shelve next to your bed. You then laid down on the bed, staring at the ceiling for a few seconds before frowning as you sat up again.
"He seemed familiar..." You thought about it for a few seconds before grabbing your phone as you heard it ring, the thoughts of the unknown male disappearing from your mind. You checked the notification before groaning as you had to leave for another job. This is why you hated your best friend sometimes, she could convince you to help with her jobs at the most annoying times. This time was like any other. You quickly got up and dressed out of the arcade uniform and into a simple jeans and shirt before grabbing your stuff and running out of the house again.
After 20 minutes, you arrived at the arena and entered quickly. It was almost empty except for the staff inside. You quickly spotter your best friend, her colorful clothes standing out compared to the black outfits everyone else wore.
"Ah, (y/n)! Here, here!" She called and you walked over, greeting the people before looking at her.
"Come on, we need to get changed into the staff clothes. I'll explain the job at the same time." She said before dragging you off to the changing rooms. After the explanation and changing, you just checked your phone again before leaving it in the lockers (something that was apparently required).
You exited the room and walked through the hallway, not paying attention to the players of today. You would just be helping people get to their seats, so you didn't really see a point in learning who was playing.
You entered the main hall, which was now filled with barriers and metal detectors. You went to your friend, smiling at her before focusing on helping people find their seats.
After an hour, you were finished, You stood in one of the pathways, the doors behind you already locked to prevent others to enter. Your head was already hurting from all the screaming fans and your eyes were itching from the flashing lights. Nonetheless, your eyes stayed on the screen as you watched 2 group fight for the glory. Although the team in blue was winning by a landslide.
When the blue team won, 2 new teams came on stage. One of the teams was dressed in green and black while the other team was dressed in blue. And low and behold, their stood the plushie guy. His eyes were trained to the front, scanning the area before leaning to one of his teammates, seemingly asking something.
"Of course he's famous." You said, rolling your eyes at how cliché it was. You leaned against the wall as you watched the match, surprised at how fast it was finished (only 10 minutes).
There was one more match which dragged on for at least 30 minutes and after that there was a 30 minute break.
You exited the arena and walked to the staff room. You quickly grabbed some money from your bag before exiting the room and searching for a vending machine. You walked from hallway to hallway before you finally noticed a blue vending machine. You stared at the drinks in the machine before entering your money and pressing the number 35 for your drink. The drink went loose and fell before getting stop halfway.
"Are you serious... Ugh!" You let out an annoyed groan, staring at the machine in anger.
"Kick it." Someone said and you looked to the side to see plushie boy leaning against the machine. He gave you a small smile before kicking his back leg against the side harshly, making the drink fall down. You took the drink before turning back to the boy.
"You played good." "Good?" He asked and you rolled your eyes, leaning against the wall next to him.
"Well, really good. The other team didn't stand a chance." You said and he smiled, looking down before getting up and holding out his hand.
"Kun-Hyeok." "(y/n)." You shook his hand shortly before opening your drink and taking a sip before looking at him again as an alarm went off, signaling that the game would continue.
"See you. Good luck." You said, giving him a short wink before walking off to go back to your station. You entered, your drink still in hand (earning a disapproving look from a colleague) as the doors closed again. The games started again, but this time you paid more attention to Kun-Hyeok's team. Well, to Kun-Hyeok...
The matches ended an hour later and your feet were dying from standing and your head had started hurting again. So when the doors open, you sprinted out of the arena and went to the staff room again. You dressed back into your regular clothes, folding the uniform before grabbing it. You exited and put the clothes with the rest before returning to the main hall. Your friend spotted you and smiled as she talked to her boss, who was holding two envelopes. When she finished talking, she received the two envelopes and ran to you.
"Here, that's your pay. Get home safe!" She yelled as she shoved the money to you before running off. You watched her before sighing loudly.
"Good pay?" You turned your head to see Kun-Hyeok again, turning completely and crossing your arms.
"Are you stalking me?" You asked with a chuckle and he shook his head quickly, pointing at his teammates just a bit further. You glanced at them before your face heated up slightly as you saw that all of them were staring t the two of you intensely.
"They look shocked... Congrats on the win by the way." "Thanks." He answered, looking a bit shy at the compliment. You glanced at the group again before grabbing the envelope. You took the money out, ripping a part of the envelope before writing on it with a pen.
"Give me a call sometimes." You handed him the piece of paper with a wink before walking away again, smirking as you heard his teammates scream.
You saw him again on Saturday while working in the arcade.
He entered the arcade, this time on his own. He looked around for a few seconds before spotting you, smiling as he made his way over to you.
"Do you want tokens?" You asked as you leaned on the counter with a smile.
"At what hour are you finished?" He asked and you looked at your watch before looking up at him.
"In 30 minutes. Why?" "Want to get something to drink after?" He asked and you nodded, smiling at him. He smiled back before stalking to the claw machine. You went back to your job, but your eyes kept wandering back to the man. He was staring at the claw machine intensely, fingers pressing the buttons rapidly.
"Hey, lady!" Some kid exclaimed and you looked at him, clearly annoyed as you gave him a death stare.
"What?" You asked and you saw him shrink back a bit before he awkwardly asked for tokens. You gave him tokens before your eyes went back to Kun-Hyeok's figure. Your colleague joined you minutes later and you sighed.
"I'm clocking out, much fun. Also, kid threw up at speed cars but that's your shift." You said with a smirk as you took off your name tag and grabbed your stuff before heading to Kun-Hyeok. You watched him play for a few seconds, but he had yet to get the plush toys.
"It got difficult, didn't it?" You asked and he looked at you before nodding with a sigh.
"That's what happens when a certain someone raids all the plush toys. Do you know how pissed the boss was." You said as he shyly grinned before he hit the button on the control panel, the claw lowering before latching on to a plush cat. The claw went up again, the cat plushie still in its grip before it dropped. Kun-Hyeok smiled as he grabbed the plush before handing it to you. You stared at it before hugging it to your body with a smile.
"Thanks. Let's go get something to drink!" You said before grabbing his hand into yours before dragging him out of the arcade and to your favorite café. You entered, smiling at the cashier before looking at the menu.
"Galaxy drink and..." You glanced at Kun-Hyeok, who pointed at a certain drink and you quickly said it for the cashier before grabbing your wallet and taking your credit card. You paid for both drinks before walking to a booth. You sat down, putting the plushie next to you before looking at Kun-Hyeok.
"You didn't have to pay..." "Doesn't matter,, you got me a plushie before. 2 even!" You said with a smile, leaning on your hand.
"Besides, I asked you to come. It feels only right to pay." You continued before quickly getting the drinks when your name was called. When you went back to your seat, you couldn't help but stop and stare at him for awhile. He was good-looking, that was for sure. Maybe that was why your heart skipped a beat when you saw him. Well, that and your crush on him of course.
You shook your head to get rid of those thoughts and instead went to sit down again, handing the drink to Kun-Hyeok before sipping from yours. It was both sweet and sour, something you greatly enjoyed every once in awhile.
"So, how did you become a gamer?" You asked and he leaned back as he thought.
"I liked gaming as a kid... And I needed money to live. So I combined the two. Not much to it honestly." He admitted and you chuckled.
"I honestly expected a big story, but that's much easier." You chuckled and he gave a small smile in return, looking at his hands.
"There isn't much, no. Just a child's dreams, I guess. That and just luck." "Luck? Yeah, right. You get nowhere with luck, only hard work. I know you worked your ass off to get where you now are. No amount of luck in the world can do that for you." You replied and you could see the blush rising on his face.
"So, how did you learn Korean?" "Boredom. I also like traveling. I went to Korea a few times, so learning the language isn't that weird." You explained, leaning back in your seat with a smile.
"I got to meet you through that, so it's a good thing, no?" You looked him right in the eye and gave a small wink before taking the plushie back in your arms, pulling your legs up as you hugged the plushie happily. You glanced back at Kun-Hyeok, who's face had grown even a shade darker. Just then, a ringtone rang loudly. Kun-Hyeok picked up and turned away from you as he spoke. When he hung up, he gave you an apologetic smile.
"I have to leave... Practice." He said and you nodded before snagging his phone out of his hand. You put your number in before handing it back to him.
"It was nice to talk to you. Call me some day." You said, shortly kissing his cheek before leaving the café with your plushie in your arms.
"(y/n)!" You paused, turning around to face Kun-Hyeok again. You hummed as he came closer to you.
"Would you want to go on a date sometimes?" He asks and you turned completely to face him.
"I thought this was already one." You replied with a small smirk before giving him a bright smile again.
"But call me for that date nonetheless." You continued before walking off again, not missing the happy smile that Kun-Hyeok now wore and the little jump he did after.
And it didn't take long for you to go on the second date.
Would anyone like to send me a gorgeously intricate rosary? I promise I’ll make it worth your while, possibly even show and tell you what I do with it.
