Paul Newman

Here's a drawing of US actor Paul Newman. He was born in Shaker Heights, a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio, US on 26th January 1925.

He starred in films such as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (my favourite of his), Hud, Road to Perdition, The Sting, The Hustler, Cool Hand Luke, Towering Inferno, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and many others.

He was also a racing car enthusiast, winning several Sports Car Club of America races. He also co-founded Newman's Own, a food company which gave their post tax profits to charities.

Until his death in 2008, Newman was married to actress Joanne Woodward. In his two marriages, he fathered six children.
