idk. if they don't fix this, i think this might be it for me on tumblr. i'm sure they drive some percentage of their userbase away with every shitty update, but on a personal level, if nothing they do ever changes my behavior towards, my use of, this site, no feedback I offer is really meaningful. and nothing will ever change.
I do understand that basically the whole internet is hostile to human life, now. I understand there's nowhere better. I understand once this is gone there is nothing I can do to replace the gap it'll leave in my life; and I've talked about this before, but it would be a kind of pathetically big gap for me. still. better for me to take the leap now, as opposed to later, i think.
maybe we can get them to roll it back? i'll try. keep leaving feedback. but I think i'm serious about that april 1st deadline. this is just no way to run a service or a business, let ALONE a community space. and the reason it keeps happening is because we tolerate it.
