I’ve been thinking about how this image heavily implies that the events of the song The Devil Went Down to Georgia transpired in the Hellaverse, and it gave me a really fun idea:

The band of demons referenced in the line “And then a band of demons joined in and it sounded something like this” was actually the other Seven Deadly Sins.

This idea is made even more humorous given that it would imply that:

A. The Sins are basically always on call for a jam session.

B. They had front row seats to Lucifer losing a fiddle playing match against some random kid from Georgia.

Alright since today is a big day, what with it being both Black Friday and the release date of Mastermind, I was wondering if you had an Hellaverse ideas or headcanons to share.

Finished Mastermind, it'll take some time to get all my thoughts in order but it was so worth it to see both Stella and Mammon happy in the same episode.

Like the idea they're seemingly leaning into with Levi. two heads, one the positive admiring side of envy, the other, the negative resentful side.

Not too keen on Bel so far.

Like the idea of the wraith guards and Satan is basically all I wanted him to be.

I also want to point out Stolas is such a narcissistic prick that he, in a life or death situation for his """""lover""""", couldn't bring himself to admit he made a mistake in judgement. He could have retold what actually happened while spinning it that he was the only one at fault, but no, he builds himself up as a manipulative genius. Honestly I think that's a greater testament to how much of a piece of shit he is than any condemnation from a second party ever could.

According to some older leaks, I can confidently say that the hotel owner guy is probably not Leviathan in disguise, and just thematic build up, the same way both Robofizz and Crimson built up to Mammon.

oh my god im so sorry i just read your analysis and i have to ask; have you got any theories on striker's past? ever since s2e6 a common one has been that he was once in a relationship with a royal, and exactly like how fizzarozzie are a bright, hopeful reflection of what stoliz could be, striker's past relationship could serve to show how rotten, discriminatory or fetishistic a relationship between a low rank demon and a royal could be..... an angle i'd wholeheartedly welcome!!

I'm glad you liked my analysis, to answer your question, I'm not dedicated to any given theory about Striker's past, though there are 2 that I keep coming back to from time to time.

One is that his family was displaced from their rural home and that this directly lead to their premature deaths, the main evidence is that his family is the most likely thing for him to be referring to when talking about having things taken away, maybe he even has some slight sympathy/empathy for Stella if he was particularly close with his own mother.

The other one, which has some overlap with the first, is that one of his parents, likely his dad, is a noble and Striker being his illegitimate child lead to him abandoning Striker's mother to protect his image and publicly denouncing her if she spoke out about it, maybe even eventually having her "taken care of". I've seen an extreme version of this propose his father is Leviathan, hence why the show is taking it's time to address Envy as a ring. Some evidence is that he's literally green-eyed (a term for being jealous/envious) and his serpent features, though I don't really buy this version of the theory.

I also don't really buy the "royal ex" theory, I see where it's coming from but I just don't see it being right. There's better things to parallel stolitz with.

I don’t know if you will believe me but I was the one who sent the ask about Mammon being charismatic and Fizz becoming hated.

I would also be interesting if the other sins actually tried to convince Asmodeus to dump Fizz. Their relationship would become so hated that it would cause so much bad publicity to anyone famous who supported Asmodeus. I don’t know.

The idea of the others turning on Ozz for going public with his relationship with Fizz is fascinating, I think it would be better if, instead of worrying about their own images, they all have their own reason for their advice and their own advice. Maybe Leviathan would care about the effect on their own image, Bee might be worried about how this could effect her and Tex too.

Might be more to this in the future, who knows!
