HE CATCHES SOMETHING OUT OF THE CORNER OF HIS EYES & attention shifts from the demon he’s been sent to destroy to the sudden movement. surprise, along with slight annoyance, etched along features, hand lowering from bow now as gaze settles on the new arrival, a person it seems. the figure looks human, mundane, but heavily armed. he can’t risk the involvement of mundanes but he can’t let the demon, already a fair distance away, leave his line of sight either. so, with careful consideration, alec moves forward, decisive & quiet ( GRATEFUL FOR HIS SOUNDLESS RUNE ) until he reaches the stranger, a few feet between them.
