A VERY BELATED BOOK UPDATE
Hah whoops I have not done an update in…a while, my bad!
Well, today for you I have an update on where the 2nd book is, a hardcover/pricing update, and a mildly related photo collage
Starting with the 2nd book, ‘The Things Under Your Bed’
I think I’m passed the 2/3’s mark now? I just started chapter 16 and have about 5-6 slated after that? So the finish line is in sight! It’s kinda funny that this book is either going to have as many chapters as the first one, or perhaps less, but will be overall longer in terms of word count! It’s just that most of these chapters ended up beefy and we’ve elected to keep them that way! I’m actually close to passing WGBITN in terms of word count, sitting at 167k right now :D
Hardcover update and pricing increase
What is hopefully the last color test print is on the way! I should have it by the middle of July and then I can place my big order after that, so very exciting news!
Unfortunately, prices on supplies have gone up globally so I will need to adjust the list price of the hardcovers. As of right now, the hardcovers will be going from $25.99 to $26.99, but the paperbacks are staying at $15.99 unless anything drastic changes!
Mildly Unrelated Life Antecedent
I was actually in New Orleans this spring and it was so much fun to be back in the city after having written WGBITN! We had a good time, ate some great food, I took notes about all the little things I noticed to try and make TTUYB more authentic, and in typical Hellen fashion, I took almost 0 pictures so please enjoy this tiny Aesthetic collage of the trip!
