ugh, my step cousins are coming to Mexico for Xmas as well & they are all planning a party for my step cousin’s 30th birthday (his birthday is early January) & mine even though mine is until august. The idea of turning 30 makes me want to combust into flames as Is, I don’t need extra reminders 🤢
I hate the holidays. 😒
i was already mentally prepping myself for Xmas alone since it’s so fucking draining for me, now I have to add more mental strain with this party thing.
can I please just get run over before next month? 🙃
the holidays always get to my head. & make me feel things I don’t like. really wish I could skip the next month & a half lmao. 🙃
Do adults, even feel the Christmas spirit at all, or are we just pretending & we stopped feeling anything special for this over commercialized holiday, decades back

I am so glad that particular Christmas is over.
My mom is much better. They are still trying to figure out why her O2 was low and why her kidneys aren't functioning completely right. She's still on oxygen and may have a kidney biopsy on Monday. She says she was coughing and vomiting in the morning due to phlegm, and the doctor thinks she may have damaged it that way.
We were supposed to have some overflow extended family from my in-laws' house last night, and they didn't, so I finally got 8 hours sleep in my own bed. It was great, though I could use another eight. I feel like I'm recovering from illness. (Christmas being the illness!) Going to mostly chill today.
I cried three times today, and later had a fit of contagious laughter. I am exhausted.

Having to buy presents for your family (more specifically parents)...when 1) there isn’t anything they specifically want, 2) figuring out what they could use is impossible, and 3) they have such picky taste that just about everything you buy ends up being returned because it is neither wanted nor seen as ever having a chance to do anything more than collect dust in a corner.

I love seeing everyone post photos of their trip(s) to New York/Broadway on all their social media pages. Not, it’s fine, not like I’d enjoy going to see a show or anything. I’d much rather sit at home, alone, while you forget I exist.
