Im not greek but I have a genuine question

Telemachus and antinous in the odyssey are mythical, right? Since its greek MYTHOLOGY?

I always said I have no care for Odyssey!sharpwolf. Like ship whatever you want yk, if it's not harmful, that’s why epic!sharpwolf was no for me.

Guys, i probably sound so dumb but im genuinely confused. Does anyone understand and care to explain.

I just wanna be more educated. Do people hate sharpwolf because it's shipping two real people? Because I thought Hellenist's didn't believe in telemachus and antinous as real figures.

Greetings! I am a new (considering) and curious polytheistic hellenist, and I want to worship Lord Hermes, Lord Apollo, Lady Athena, and Lady Persphone. I don't know a lot about this religion, but I want to learn! I am interested and want to be devoted to these gods, but I would love some guidance!

I am a queer, trans teen who goes by He/They pronouns and the name Vespuris or V!

I will make posts about rituals, holidays, prayers, and deities, such as the ones I follow and some I don't! I try to be open-minded about the gods, but I still have a few limits as a new follower. Please forgive me.

This blog will also be used as an RP account, so if you don't like RP's, please click off.

Please don't send hate. I am new and would love corrections if I make a mistake, but I won't allow haters on my blog!

Note, I support all religions and will not accuse or hurt another religion because of my beliefs!

I’m terrified of thunder storms.

The lightning feels like a punishment

sent from the Gods.

So it’s no wonder my electric loves died out.

I was always holding my breath.

They were brilliant, terrifying, Short.

But you,

You are a comforting fireplace

on a winters day.

Not electric, but light all the same.

A stolen gift bestowed by a Titan

fit only for Gods

And even when no crackling sparks remain,

I know we can breath life

into the embers that keep me warm

and our flames will reignite

I will savour the gift of fire

over the fear of lightning any day
