Of course, of course it had to start pissing the second she found a book in a relative good state. This was Liurnia after all, she should have expected it, it was already a miracle she had found anything not damaged by water but still. The timing of that damn rain.

At least, if she wasn't mistaken, there should be some ruins nearby with enough of a roof that she could take refuge and wait for the storm to pass.

Meryk wasn't exactly looking where she was going, too intent on saving that little piece of history, and barged right in without checking for threat first. No the smartest thing to do, but she still would swear up and down it wasn't overacting when she screamed FUCK at the top of her lungs after catching a glimpse of the prisoner mask half hidden in the shadows of the ruins.

Oh boy, it seemed there was no end to living beings trying to get on board Viator's train. What in the heck were people doing out so late in the night anyways? Didn't most usually sleep at this hour?
