so i was just rewatching jatp, and i just thought about the orpheum. the theater itself was named after orpheus and his significance to music, but i was just wondering if the show specifically chose it partly because of the myth of orpheus and eurydice, of him going to the underworld to bring his dead wife back. because if they did that would be cool, lol. i don't really follow any bts-related content about jatp so i dunno if they have mentioned this previously

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! here is a great theory I read a while ago that touches on this myth (thanks @multifandomterrors for this super detailed post that I keep coming back to lol). 

You know how big of a nerd I am for mythology and I love the parallels (whether coincidental or purposeful) here!!!!!!!

The theme of life and death is... well... very central to the show haha. But it isn’t spoken about in the literal sense all of the time. There are a few lines (especially near the end of the season) where it’s mentioned that the guys brought Julie back to life. They aren’t talking about literal life here, but the wording is very clear. They helped bring Julie back to life through music and their love.

So, really... Even if The Orpheum isn’t hinting at the ghosts coming back to life (like I hope lol), there are still parallels to what is already established in canon.

Oh my goodness, hi Lea!! Happy gwc!!💛 so I haven't reposted sam's ask game cause I'm not finished with the books and didn't know if I was prepared to answer the questions so I'll try my best🙈

🙏🏻: what grishaverse book scene are you dying to see onscreen?

The kanej bathroom scene! (Which won't happen this season so honestly any of their interactions haha) And I'm really hoping for more than one season so that Wylan can be introduced because I really want to see wylan and jesper!!

😍: who's your favorite character and why?

Oh gosh, this is one I still don't have a good answer for haha. My brain's initial response is: inej, kaz, and jesper. Why? I don't know! I feel like I'm still trying to get to know them, but I just love that they all come from such different backgrounds and become family (we love the found family) and like, they're not afraid to call one another out and push each other to grow. I dohno man! I still need to work on the 'why' I guess, but these are the three perspectives I enjoy reading the most!

💰: what would be your greatest strength during a heist? Your worst weakness?

Oof. I would NOT be good in a heist at all hahaha. I think if I had to choose a strength it would maybe be hyping people up and giving them pep talks that they'll be able to accomplish it?? But my worst weakness would be that I'd definitely be so anxious and would think we can't accomplish it and we'd be found out and all the worst things that could happen would happen in my mind haha. I'm good at telling other people they can accomplish things but I'm not good at believing it if I'm trying to convince myself.

💫: what type of grisha would you want to be, and what type of grisha do you think you’d actually be? 

This one is hard. I took a quiz and it said I was a heartender but that didn’t feel right and I took it again and got squaller. Squaller seems like a good fit. I do think Durast are super cool and wouldn’t mind be one! 

🤝: what grishaverse character do you most relate to & why?

This is a hard one. I want to say I am like Inej, but she is much braver than I am. In reality, I am probably more like David, hyperfocused and terrible with human ques! 

🎥: what about the shadow and bone tv series are you most excited for?

Just seeing the whole world come to life! I feel like the show will do a great job of where I think there were gaps in teh books ande develop the relationships more. I am also curious to see how they combine Six of Crows with Shadow and Bone!
