Kai's not fucking around anymore -- he's bound and determined to feel this baby move, if it's the last thing he ever does. Carefully, he applies a bit of pressure to the side of Clara's tummy, ear firmly against her bare skin, and an expression of such concentration on his features that it's almost comical. "Do ittttt."

Perhaps dropping his detached limb on his science teacher's desk all the while reciting a movie quote isn't the most socially appropriate way to handle this sort of situation; but in Shay's defense, there's no set of manners that indicates what you should do in times like these.

"--Aaa, aa. Hold that thought." Everett places his index finger against Logan's lips when his phone finally vibrates, interrupting a story that he'd been completely (not) listening to in favor of reading a message from -- ah, yes. His drug dealer. "Okay, can you start after today?"
He's a little -- off today. He feels grief and sadness and for some reason he wants to do something good. Something that'll make someone happy, even if it was only in the slightest. He bought a single flower and moved over to the person sitting, waiting for the bus -- or something. Who knows. He handed them the flower and kinda just nodded and walked away.
