Also, do you have any suggestions for places to use for a mind palace? I'm having a hard time using real-life places because I end up getting confused

Catacombs

random gift shops you go to either locally or on trips

restaurants

the place you take your dog to get groomed

your office

your friends houses

random houses you see when you drive by them

your grandparents’ houses

the block around all of those houses

the mall (using each store as a palace)

cruise ships (these are by far my favourite to make palaces)

Any place you go to can be used as a mind palace. If you like you can make it a game or challenge, associate at least one thing in each new place you go to. You may find yourself one day searching through these saved palaces and need one to binge study for a test or quickly memorise a licence plate or phone number.

Tip: you can place imaginary objects as pegs into real places (and the same vise versa, just imagine the thing you keep in your room being scattered around Hogwarts for all the students to see)

heyy i love your blog, and as you answer questions: do we know why vespa didnt become a planet? like, what stopped it from getting out the protoplanet stage?

So much of planetary formation boils down to dumb luck. There are so many bodies floating around, interacting with each other gravitationally, it’s all very complicated.

With Vesta, as with other bodies in the Asteroid belt, a big factor is Jupiter. Gravitational resonances with Jupiter kept things moving too fast in the asteroid belt, thus preventing them from sticking together if they impacted. So we ended up with a bunch of little things in there instead of one complete planet.

why did you dye your hair? cx you got a bit more tumblr

looooooool i haven’t had my natural hair colour since i was 11 cos i’m 100% colourblind and the way i see my natural hair colour is gross as fuck. So, there’s only so much you can do with “natural” colours. Blond was fun for a while. Brown was dull. Black made me look even paler than i already am. I tried red and green, wasn’t a fan of either. Blue works for me, i like it. I might try purple in 6 months or so when I want a change from blue.
