media release: My Chemical Romance Adds Second Show in Kuala Lumpur – The Only 2-Night Stop on Their Southeast Asia Tour 2026
Hello Universe is thrilled to announce that My Chemical Romance (MCR) will extend their highly anticipated Kuala Lumpur concert for a second night, following the record-breaking sale of 60,000 tickets in just 90 minutes.
The second show will take place on Friday, 1 May 2026 at Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil, marking a historic moment as Malaysia becomes the only country in Southeast Asia to host back-to-back MCR shows.
With an expected total attendance of 120,000 fans, Kuala Lumpur will now host the biggest stadium shows for My Chemical Romance in the region.
This will also mark the first time in history that Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil will host two consecutive nights of a full-scale international concert.
This is not only a historic moment for fans, but also a landmark achievement for Malaysia’s premier venue, marking the first time in history that Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil will host two nights of a full-scale international concert in a row.
Tickets will on sale on Friday, 1 August 2025 at 10:00 at www.golive-asia.com or GoLive Ticketing App.
This is shaping up to be one of the most iconic nights in global emo rock history. Fans are encouraged to set their alarms and secure tickets early, as overwhelming demand is expected, just like the sold-out first night.
