Hellraiser: Revelations - (2011) dir. Víctor Garcia
i'm not 2 minutes into Hellraiser: Revelations and i already fucking hate everything about it, jesus fucking christ, this is going to be a miserable hour and 10 minutes. at least it's mercifully short, the shortest Hellraiser so far, i doubt much hell will be raised, but ig that is the tiniest victory i can get from this. but amazon put like six fucking ads in between the movie so i'm sure it's going to be like fucking 2 hours while actually watching.

Hellraiser: Revelations (2011)
The guy who played Pinhead didn’t come back to play Pinhead because he saw a disaster and avoided it. Someone portrays Pinhead on screen now and someone else does his voice. He’s more menacing and scary looking. In this awful horror movie, 2 boys go missing in Mexico. One of them comes back and holds his own family hostage, and it’s revealed in flashbacks that it’s the other boy in their sons skin. Then the Cenobites show up. And it’s dumb.
Rating: F. I don’t care if y’all lose the rights to Hellraiser, you can’t make a good one so knock it the fuck off.
2 minutes in to Hellraiser 9 and I already want to turn the movie off.
HELLRAISER IX: REVELATIONS
"You opened the box. You summoned us. We came..."
Probably no worse than Hellraiser VIII: Hellworld but certainly on par. Wooden, unrelateable characters and no appearance from Doug Bradley made this a truly painful, pleasure-less finale that not even Pinhead himself would be so hateful as to unleash on the world.
