Laura Kinney X-23 and Stephanie Brown Batgirl
Post patrol snuggles on the couch.
They work well together, Laura realised once they were safely back in Batgirls home. While their skills were vastly different and their outlook towards missions were on opposite sides of the spectrum, Laura found that they meshed well together.
Batgirl was always willing to fill the silence that Laura cannot break. Always having a comment or quip, and not minding when Laura does not reply or acknowledge what is being said. She was also careful with her affection on the field, keeping a carefully distance away, like she understands that while Laura was on her mission she did not want to be touched or have anyone close by, least they end up in the path of her claws.
They shower in the small bathroom together. Their bodies barely big enough to fit the two of them but Laura wanted to watch the tension slide down Batgirls shoulders, like the hot water she stands under. The touch each other, softly, gently, like nothing else matters in their world but them right now.
And once they are done they get dressed into comfortable clothes and rest themself against the couch. A rerun of whatever show on the background as they simply rest against each other, hair still wet and sticking to them.
There is no need for words to fill this quiet. Just the gently touch and breathing between them.
