I'm finding and posting all my past digital art work so it's all in one place, some of the pictures have been blurry but thankfully my phone as an 'increase resolution' feature!
What would have happened if Verosika and Blitz never broke up?
Honestly, I think it would have been worse all around for most of the cast. Blitz does NOT look happy or healthy in the picture we see with her, and I feel like he would have eventually crashed and burned - probably alongside her. I think they would have a blast the entire way down, though.
We're told she went to rehab at least once. I really don't think they had a stable or healthy relationship, even ignoring how it ended. I don't doubt they cared for each other-hell, that's part of why Blitz panicked and doubled down so hard- but I do think they were bad for each other, feeding the other's bad habits.
We know he likely wouldn't have encountered Mox (or Millie??) So God only knows what would have happened with them. Mox either would have done his time or been retrieved by his father and it's up in the air if he'd have met Millie himself without Blitz. It's impossible to say as we still don't REALLY know how everyone met, but it's heavily implied Blitz is the hinge point there.
Not even getting into Loona, who it's doubtful he'd have ever adopted. Safe to say she would...not be doing well. Or even doing. Anything. Ever again. Not without a stroke of luck.
Stolas would still be trapped in a loveless marriage, without the incentive or strength to fight back against Stella; on the plus side there, as I don't think he'd have gotten into a relationship with Blitz, his relationship with Octavia would be much stronger then it is. She'd be his lifeline even more so, I think, then she currently is. He'd be otherwise alone and stuck, though, and honestly I see him drinking even worse, possibly to the point of injuring himself. And if this was/is a long term situation...God help him once Via is grown and married off.
The only one I think he'd still have a similar situation with is Fizz. I think they would still end up in relatively close contact more often then they both wanted because of Verosika's status and Fizz's fame, and I feel like the forced, constant contact would eventually bring out the argument and revelation they have in Oops, just without the physical threat. In fact, I think they would be even closer, possibly even still in something like a relationship-Fizz being the closest thing to a real friend and close connection Blitz would have, as I really don't see him ever being able to fully open up to and trust Verosika.
In fact, I wonder if it would be borderline unhealthy in it's own right, as Blitz would run to Fizz when shit got hard with Verosika, emotionally harming all three of them, giving Blitz an escape instead of making him confront his fears and treat Verosika as a partner, and wear on Fizzie emotionally and mentally.
Tldr: I feel like it would be harmful for everyone, not just Blitz and Verosika, and as much as I think they do care about each other I don't think they would ever able to be healthy together.
