I've had a health revelation over the last week and I needed to have a ramble about it

So anyone who has followed me for... Actual years (are there any of you out there???) May be aware that for many many years I was just... In a debilitating amount of abdominal pain that could last anywhere from an hour to a full week... I've had so many tests done, a few trips to the ER only to be sent home with a shrug... It's gotten better over the last few years but still happens.

But this week we think we worked it out...

I'm lactose intolerant.

That's literally it. I had ultrasounds and MRIs and blood work and... No one had the thought "hey, maybe this kids dairy heavy diet might be hurting them"

And obviously it got better a few years ago when I moved out because I just... Prefer non-dairy snacks whereas at home it was just "I'm getting ice cream, you want one?" And what kid is gonna say no to ice cream?

But like... I just.... Never connected to dots.

So now I'm starting the "where the hell is my dairy limit" tests and working out what I can and can't have and do you know how amazing it is to be able to do this? It's such a SIMPLE solution. It's just... So easy. No medical treatment, no surgery, no deterioration... Just.. research and switching what I put in my tea.
